Lawn Vets

First let me start by saying I used Lawn Vets with no problems for almost two years until the last month or so. In Sept I had received a letter from my HOA stating that my yard had not been up to the standards of our subdivision (it had been raining a lot and I only get bi-​weekly service). This was in-​between services so I mowed the yard myself. So mid– month I notice that Lawn Vets had not come out. So I called and spoke with the owner who had told me that they were behind because he had gotten married and they drove by and saw the lawn was mowed so they thought they did it. So confusion aside, they would come out that Friday (9÷18÷2015). They did. Everything was fine. So the next service date rolls around which would have been 10÷2÷2015 and they don’t come out. Okay, they will probably come on Monday. Here’s the problem. I was leaving town on Monday ¹⁰⁄₅ to go to Italy for a week. I check to see if there is an invoice (because for some reason they stopped sending me invoices earlier this year and I had to go in each month and check myself). No invoice. I need this to be resolved before I leave town because I do not want to come back to another letter from the HOA. No invoice by ¹⁰⁄₅ so I mow the yard MYSELF again on ¹⁰⁄₅. I come back from Italy and Lawn Vets never comes out. No problem cause I figured mowing season was really over.
HERE is the problem. I got a call from the owner yesterday about an outstanding invoice for October. I informed him that they did not perform service in October and he had the nerve to tell me that HE did the mowing to my yard for the month of October himself. Really? Because I know ***I*** did the mowing. I was fine leaving things the way they were, but I am not paying for a service I performed myself. Not sure what is going on with this company.

These guys are AWESOME! My yard was trashed after the ice storm in February and had need professional help. Jacob was professional and gave me a reasonable price. He and his partner arrived on time, worked efficiently and completed the job as promised. I would highly recommend them for any landscaping needs!
