Harper’s Alley is hands down my favorite spot in downtown Eustis. My husband and I met there years ago and were ecstatic to see new owners breathing life back into the bar. Ken and Trish know their stuff and always have great recommendations for beer and wine. All the renovations, décor, and seating turned one part of the alley into a music lounge; complete with guitars on the wall, a baby grand piano, and live music often. The inside bar was built into a U shape, and I love being able to gather around and converse with friends new and old. Harper’s Alley also has a second bar and tables in the front of the alley so patrons may sit aside the beautiful and historic Magnolia Ave. If your looking for a laid back spot with great beers and good vibes then come to Harper’s. Eustis has no shortage of charm and this local bar fits right in.

When they first opened, it was a sweet chilled out local bar with a good vibe. Very dark inside with dark décor. Perfect little place for meeting up with friends for some drinks. Now… I don’t even know what happened. It’s like the bar that doesn’t know what it wants to be. For some reason they made the bar into this weird giant U shape which totally killed the vibe. Then the other room where there used to be a bunch of couches they put in another bar for wine? I don’t know, it’s weird. Not to mention that the prices are never the same. It’s one of those places where the price depends on who’s working at the time and whether they like you. The craft beer selection isn’t great and their prices are completely outrageous. Like super outrageous for what they have. So if you’ve got deep pockets and don’t care how much you’re getting charged for cheap beer then this is the place for you!
