really friendly folks. BEST crab rangoon. lady told me to try it and i didnt order it. she brought some to my table anyhow and she was right! worth the trouble to find it.

Dropped in here on way to springfield. Happy with my choice.
Ordered Egg fu yong. Portion size humongous, taste pretty good.
Good place to sit and eat but most people had take outs.
They don’t have fountain machine only bottles and cans. Since I didn’t want a soda or bottled water they said they didn’t have any drinking water. Bummer! However talk of hospitality they actually brought out a bottle of water for me. Just wow!
Will be back here again since I travel this route occasionally.

The people here are always so nice. I love their Lo mein noodles and crab Rangoon. We always order our food to go and they are always fast.

The workers were soooo friendly! I love to chat with them. The food was very impressive!

Love the food and the people. In NJ we had an amazing Chinese restaurant we frequented for 13 years, and China King has met our high expectations with their EXCEPTIONAL food!!!
We have been regulars here for years, Kelly knows us by name and our families order. We always get the general tso chicken, sweet & sour chicken, chicken fried rice, house special lomein (to die for!), crab Rangoon (also amazing!), beef & broccoli, and wanton soup. Flavors are very rich and quite consistent every time we go. Lots of food, even tastier leftovers :)
Fast service. Usually only takes 15 min (call ahead and let them know what time you’ll be there). She once got an order ready for us in 30 min that could feed 35 people. Awesome! Small business, takes cards but prefers cash.

I have not been here for many years and decided to come here again recently. Just not good. My food was mushy and the flavors were not particularly inviting. The food also didn’t have a great appearance.
The place is clean and the staff is very friendly, but I see no reason to ever come back here.

I loved their food… Very good typical Chinese take out, nothing more, nothing less. We’d been there multiple times, actually, without one complaint. The lady behind the counter was always very nice… Always wanted to talk about where you lived, etc. The dinner combination portions were so big, we always had enough leftover for a generous lunch the next day… Food came out relatively quickly.
BUT I WILL NEVER BE BACK AGAIN! I was waiting in line to pick up our usual order and a GIANT COCKROACH scampered across the floor right in front of my feet and under the booth near the condiment stand. Sorry, China King. You were so good while it lasted, but we’ll never be back after seeing that.

Ok, so we moved to the area about a year ago and are still in search of our go to place for Chinese take out. While this is better than another restaurant closer to us, it was not remarkable.
I was pleased with the egg roll, but the red sweet and sour sauce was extremely runny like it had been watered down. The flavor was ok, but the consistency ruined it for me. My boyfriend really liked the crab rangoon, but I felt like they were again, too fluid, too creamy. However, they weren’t overly greasy and the flavor was decent, so overall, the appetizers were ok.
I ordered special combination plate #25, Chicken w/​Orange Peel with white rice. The chicken was good, but nothing special, standard fare. The sauce was surprisingly too thick and saccharinely sweet. Nothing disgusting, but nothing delicious. The rice was probably the best part, fluffy but still sticky, held sauce well, but tasted great on it’s own.
My boyfriend ordered the chef’s specialty Five Stars (a typo on the to go menu lists it as Five Stras) which came with white rice, but also ordered some Pork Fried Rice. While he thought the beef, pork, and broccoli were good, and while nothing tasted bad, he was not fond of the mixture of the other flavors. He also said the fried rice was good, but not great. However, he was impressed that he got almost 4 cups of rice in his box. His biggest complaint is that we were not given or offered soy sauce, so he was stuck with the low sodium version I keep in the house, which he wasn’t fond of either.
When picking up the food, my boyfriend was impressed on how clean the restaurant was, and that it didn’t smell like cleaner.
Overall, I was less impressed with the food than he was and will probably still try to find another, better, option, but all in all, it’s not bad, but I’d suggest sticking to basics and expecting it to taste like any other strip mall buffet.

The people were friendly. The vegetable lo mein was good. The other dishes not so good. Better for take out than dining in — they have tables, but no real china.
