My cousin Leesa and I traveled to Eureka Springs recently. We ate here twice at Forest Hill; once for dinner and once for the breakfast buffet. The first night, we split a small cheese pizza and each got the salad bar. The restaurant had a lot of choices in salads and I was happy to see that honey mustard was on the salad bar. Our pizza was crispy, cheesy, and delicious. It was perfectly cooked and just enough for us to enjoy. For breakfast the next morning, we returned to Forest Hill because I was given a 10 percent off coupon on our receipt the night before. We both got the salad bar and found there were many excellent choices; scrambled eggs, french toast, bisquits, bacon, and sausage to name a few. It was an excellent breakfast and both meals were under 20.00 I would recommend Forest Hill to anyone coming to Eureka Springs and looking for an economical, but great place to eat.

The service was ok– not much interaction, but she got our drinks & food out in a timely manner. My husband got the ribeye cooked just the way he ordered, and said it was fine. He’s had better, but this wasn’t bad. I ordered an 8″ Greek pizza, but got a 12″. I thought it was very tasty. Chock full of toppings. The décor is nothing special. About what you’d expect from a family buffet restaurant.

Nope, not for me. Went in, a few people in there and while the service was good — the food was poor. Eggs came with runny whites, omelette was not really one, potatoes were cold, gravy was stone cold, sausage on omelette looked like rat droppings. Won’t be back for sure.

Do not eat here! My mother and I were in town for one night and stopped here for dinner after I’d heard positive things about their pizzas. We’re both vegetarian and ordered a vegetarian pizza off the menu. After waiting an hour(they weren’t very busy but from what I understand they can only cook a couple pizzas at a time) they brought us our pizza. Immediately I noticed pepperonis and brought it to their attention. They went back to see if they’d given us someone else’s pizza but it turned out their«cook»(and I use that term lightly) didn’t know what the difference was between pepperoni and peperoncini. They then said they were fixing it and would have it right out to us. Repeatedly we were told our«pizza’s on it’s way» and at the hour and forty-five minute mark were told 2 pizzas were in the oven and one was ours. Finally just after being there for 2 hours we were told apparently the same fool who doesn’t know a meat from a vegetable didn’t realize when the pizza was sent back an hour ago it meant to redo it so no efforts had been made to fix our order and they now had no intentions of doing so as we’d hold up the close of the restaurant and would have had to wait a total of 3 hours to eat as other orders for delivery were being worked on. We were not alone in these dealings as a couple came in at the same time as us and when we’d left after 2 hours their order still hadn’t arrived. We were told we could come back the next day and get a free pizza but after sitting for 2 hours and walking away with nothing there was no way.

This place was very disappointing. We went for the breakfast buffet which comes at the price of 6.95 a person. Walking in, we were the only guests. The waitress had been outside putting sign letters up when we pulled into the parking lot. When we went inside she was eating from the buffet with her fingers. We were lucky enough to be greeted by her with her mouth full of food! She told us the eggs and potatoes would be a few minutes so we waited. Eventually, we went up to the buffet and had some food. It was all… highly processed. I don’t think they make anything from scratch. The bacon was too crispy to pick up with tongs, the French toast was burnt on one side, the waffles and pancakes were hard. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy tasted like gravy from a jar. The scrambled eggs were edible when freshly put on the buffet, but hard later on. We waited a long time to get the check while the waitress fixed her hair in the mirror. Then we waited for her to pick up our money while she texted visibly in the back. I never once saw her wash her hands. I think the staff is definitely committing some health violations here. We would not recommend this place and would not go back here.

Eggs Benedict sauce tatted like straight mustard. Breakfast potatoes were burnt and bland. The French toast was soggy and barely warm when they brought it out. The only thing that raised my review to two stars was the nice server.

The service at the restaurant was mediocre. They did have a buffet that seemed well stocked. We ordered two burgers which were actually very delicious!

Had our wedding dinner here. It was ehh… Food was just okay. We ordered a fruit and veggie tray for our guests but the waitstaff took it away and it still was FULL of fruit and veggies, ignoring my request to keep it out for everyone. Worst part is we didn’t get to take any of the tray with us. I really feel we over paid. The atmosphere is very drab.

Pretty good place, good fried chicken and cornbread! My wife had a good french dip and swiss sandwich as well.

I was looking for a place called Beaver something, and turned around in the parking lot of Forest Hill. I still was unhappy, no barbeque or pizza. As with Forest Hill. I chose their buffet. We were greeted with the server who expertly described everything on the buffet. The buffet was weird. It seemed good enough, but boring. Pork roast, rice, chicken, vegetables, The dessert was bread pudding, but it didn’t look very good., No bread or rolls. Potatoes. Salad. I probably would’ve done better ordering pizza, had I been given a menu promptly before I selected buffet. Whatever. Forest Hills pretty on the inside. Doesn’t look like a location for pizza. The buffet was fine, but I don’t think Forest Hills is what Eureka Springs is known for. I nfact, I’m trying to figure out what food is best in Arkansas. The buffet was a bit bland. We ordered cake, which was $ 4.95 a piece. It was quite good. I ate it the next morning.

Popped through here while in Eureka for work. After driving around the area, this one seemed pretty inviting. My husband and I both had a burger, it was huge and delicious– which was good because I was starving! Seemed like a local hangout, we definitely got the«you guys aren’t from here» stares, but everyone was nice!

Great pizza, crusty, inventive toppings. Engaging server. All in all, we had a good experience – all eight of us!

The best place we ate at in eureka for casual dinning! It was friendly, tasty, and clean. Loved the Russian girl who served us both mornings at breakfast. Wonderful buffet

We both had the buffet. The salad bar portion was awesome. They had homemade coleslaw, potato salad, tomato salad, etc. Very good. The entrée portion of the buffet was mediocre at best. Great cornbread muffins! Good service, very friendly.

Greasy would be the best description of the diner food available at Forest Hill. It’s packed with locals because of the very low prices, but the quality is lacking as well. Got a veggie omelet($ 5.99) but it was swimming in grease. The coffee was good though, and people who chose the breakfast buffet($ 6.29) seemed to like their selections. Overall this is an escape from the expensive tourist traps down the road in Eureka Springs but you might sacrifice a bit of the ambiance and flair found in downtown…
