Best fried food I have ever had! Frog legs were better than anything in Louisiana! The shrimp had a lil kick, sides all homemade. Hush your self for the puppies! If you eat nothing else get the hush puppies! The chef is one if a kind!!!

Great food. We tried almost everything he had. The po’boy had a nice yummy remoulade that had a good kick but not overly spicy. All the sandwiches were on a nice crusty onion bread. Great onion rings. The fish and chips were tasty but my friend thought they were a little greasy. We had the chicken, ribs and pulled pork. All were good. He was out of frog legs but he claims they’re great. Catfish is supposed to be great but neither of us are fans of catfish so we didn’t order any. Also he doesn’t have gumbo even though the sign advertises it. It takes a while to get your order but you can call ahead. Might want to bring a beer to have at the picnic table while waiting. If you go in the evening he may throw in some extra sides so they don’t go to waste. We also agree with the other reviewer that the fried corn on the cob was a tasty surprise. All the sides are homemade. And the owner is a character. Worth going just to talk with him. Comes across as an eccentric stoner. Super funny guy.

Fried pies to make you cry with joy! The catfish is excellent, but so is the boiled shrimp. Good food!
