Thanks for losing me $ 220. I moved back to TX from CA and had to stay on a friend’s couch for a while, and stored most of my things in a unit here. It was cheap and easy, and I set it up during the drive into the city. Everything went fine until my move-out. I was told if I moved out within a week of my last payment, I’d be returned at least half of what I’d paid for the month. I paid on the 7th, and was out on the 14th. I called and talked to Bob? Bill?(definitely a guy with a name starting with B) early that afternoon to confirm that I was out, and was told that I could expect $ 60 back into my account within two weeks. Two weeks later, I receive an email receipt saying that I’m getting nothing — because they moved me out on the 17th. I’m already in a tight spot thanks to an unexpected move, and having my wallet stolen, and now on top of that, I’m out the truck I had to pay for to get my things out because none of my friends with trucks were free before then($ 150) and that monthly payment($ 60). I called and talked to Suzanne, who has been super sweet and I never had a problem with her. She assured me that she’d talk to the guy I had talked to about moving out, and figure it out for me. I received a call the next day that there was nothing she could do. Thanks a whole lot, Metro Self Storage. I’ll be warning everyone I know and reviewing everywhere I can. Save your cash, go elsewhere.
