Enclave at Bear Creek

We lived in the complex for over two and a half years and ever since they switched management this place has plummeted into horribleness. First off even though we were not renting one of the upgraded apartments our rent was increased to matched those that were. They changed their grilling policy to where you could no longer own your own grill and since we could not get ride of our grill within the 24 hour period they provided they took it. Our building was infested with cockroaches (and not the small kind either) and it took them over a year before they did anything about it and fined us for using store bought products when we were trying to deal with the problem ourselves. The front office has a high turnover for staff which made them unreliable and many are rude. They have lost one of our rent checks then threaten to evict us. When we finally had enough and moved they have been trying to cheat us out of over $ 500 for «damages» to the apartment. They refuse to show us invoices showing the charges and where the $ 500 deposit that was places when we originally moved in went, and now they are saying they never charged us for a deposit so we have to pay up. (the leasing agreement we signed before moving in says otherwise.) Avoid the headache and run away from this place.

This place is literally falling apart. We signed a 12 month lease based on the initial sighting, and moved out after 2 months.
The carpet was used, the apartment smelled horrible, the grounds/​pools weren’t maintained, the cops were there every night, and there were bugs. Just sickened me.
Glad we moved out. Not going back. The only nice thing I can say is that it IS a gated community, so there’s a tad bit of security.

I can’t recommend this complex. The 2 hot tubs are never cleaned so they’re not usable. Right now they are green with a coating of leaves across the bottom. Office staff is unresponsive to problems and if they have to approve expenditures for a repair prepare for a delay. Several of them make it clear they are bothered when you call, assuming they answer, which is very rare.
They recently «remodeled» many units, but much of what they did still looks dated, and the carpet is insanely cheap. They need to do some roof work, but I have yet to see any indication that will happen.
This could be a great complex, but the owners and management have screwed it up.
