Super great customer service. Great selection and great prices. Go check them out. When looking through the used cars we found some real nice cars. We’ll be back to buy again in the near future.

I just bought my 2^nd Mazda from Kiefer Mazda a few weeks ago. I had a great experience with my 1^st purchase of a used model. This last experience with Mitch Ripke was great too. He is so friendly, honest and knowledgeable — it is reassuring. I got in contact with him after my friend bought a new car from him and I reached out to see what there was for me. He asked me all the important questions about color, transmission, interior, and features. Then when I got there, he had 3 cars ready for me to inspect and checkout. I really appreciated this! Even though I knew I didn’t like Leather interior and I was pretty sure I don’t like coupes, he still had them ready so I could make sure. The test drive was great — he encouraged me to push the car to see what it could really do as far as get up and go and the Blind Spot Monitoring System.
We worked on the numbers and made the sale.
One draw back was that the exact color and trim I wanted wasn’t on their lot; it was on another lot somewhere up north. So I bought the car before having been in the actual car. I was told I would get it the next day, but that didn’t happen. It was not Mitch or anyone else fault at Kiefer. The lot that had my car was being extremely difficult with the coordination to make the trade for my car, so it actually took a few days to get. I was not happy about this delay, but Mitch and his Manager, Dean did everything in their power to make sure I was a happy customer. There were a couple hiccups in the process of buying this car, but in the end I very much appreciated how they went the extra mile to make me happy.
I recommend Kiefer Mazda and Mitch Ripke to anyone interesting in buying new or used.

I have bought 4 cars from Kiefer Mazda. The last two from Mitch.
. He worked with me on my schedule, no hassle, no pressure, and even had somebody go to Portland to get the car I wanted in the trim that I needed. Walked me thru every step and I can’t say enough about Mitch. Nice guy, great dealership, supior service. I won’t go anywhere else. And if you do go see Mitch make sure you tell him Rob S. Said to ask for him. He’s never let me down!

So irritated I scheduled am appointment online for this morning and I get here and no one is here. So went to the website on my phone since I know they have chat agents there. We’ll they couldn’t even tell me when they plan to open for the day! He said a «team member» would contact me back, no time frame specified and then proceeded to leave the conversation promptly without giving me a chance to ask anything else. So I’m sitting outside the dealership, having woke up early to bring my car in and having drove 25 miles to get here with no clue if/​when anybody will show up!
And to add insult to injury I just received this email: Currently our Internet Sales Team is unavailable to immediately answer your questions. However, please know that your inquiry is important to us and we will be in contact with you by 9 a.m. tomorrow, or by 10 a.m. on Sundays.
Oh and they don’t even have an answering machine so I can leave a message to be called back whenever they do decide to open.

We had a great car buying experience with Kristin McMichael on Saturday, August 16^th. We contacted her via online and she was very responsive. She had the car waiting out front when we arrived. She was very efficient, easy to work with and provided excellent service. Thank you Kristin for making this the fastest car buying experience we’ve ever had!

I bought a car from them this past weekend. Flew up from SF to get it. They picked me up at the airport, all good.
However, the car was NOT in the condition that they advertised. It was pretty badly scratched up, and also had a big X that had been keyed into the passenger door. This was NEVER mentioned on the phone after many conversations, nor in their advertisements. They DID say «it’s like a new car!» Since I had flown up to get the car, I didn’t have a lot of good options once I saw the damages.
Kiefer offered me $ 100 to «buff it out» when I got home. Well, in SF — you can’t even get someone to LOOK at your car for $ 100. I asked for $ 250, they countered with $ 200 and a full tank of gas (which you should get anyways.) Since I didn’t have any other good options, I had to accept.
Now I’m home and I don’t really feel too good about what happened. Pretty lame. I don’t see how they could have NOT SEEN the damage. They really should have been more honest about the condition of the car.
Buyers beware!

Purchased a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe from here, I love my car but i have some things to say about the dealership. I purchased the car in October, when I initially bought the car the gas tank was on empty and smelled like cigarettes, since then I have had to put into it about about eight hundred and I am looking at having to put another grand or so in here pretty soon. Not ideal. I got the car for a relatively good price, wish they would have worked with me a little bit more on the price, especially now since I’m having to do all these repairs on the car. The lady who worked with me was Kristen, and she was very helpful at the beginning of the process and then became a pain and very sporadic and she didn’t really give me good, full information. It’s great to be able to buy a good car and have faith that it will get you from point a to point b, but you really need to take into consideration the ‘AS IS’ when you buy used from anywhere.

Last year I purchased a used chevy from Kiefer Mazda, the price and vehicle was amazing. After a few week the dealership called me and informed me that I had a free oil change. Was super excited but very skeptical because as a women, i have had some really bad experiences with other dealerships. This was like no other dealership I have been too. The treated me like I was family and even hand washed my car. Since than, I have been in several times and each and every time, they have proven that there service department is top notch. I have and will continue to refer customers to this dealership.

If I could give this dealer a big fat thumbs down I would.
Back in July I traded in my vehicle for a used truck. It did not come with a warranty, but they assured me that their team had looked over everything with the vehicle and that is was fine and there were no problems with it. I also asked if the tags were rolled into the payment and covered for the year, they said this was covered and that I would receive my tags in the mail. Well I have certainly received them in the mail alright, I got a letter from the DMV saying that I owe $ 86 in December for new tags even though the dealer charged me $ 77 for them in July!
Since I bought the truck, within exactly 4 months, I have had to put in a new battery, new windshield wipers, a new fuse for the lighter, the rear passenger windows motor is broken and needs replacing, the drivers side air bag was RECALLED! And my servicing dealer in Portland took care of that for me thank goodness! I also had to do a 60k work up on it because even though it was so close to it, they didn’t do it! The passenger side mirrors casing is cracked and needs replacing, came like that off the lot, I asked them if they could fix it for me, I mean I am paying you $ 20,000 for a car, but no, they refused. Are you kidding me! I also need new tires within 20k mile. Why? Tires come with 100k miles on them, do you want to tell me why there were only 30k worth of miles to drive on those tires?!?
They obviously did not look at the truck, lied to my face, and stuck me with something that I had no idea what was wrong with. I have put so much money into fixing this truck because of their inability to fix a vehicle before they put it on the lot to sell to someone. I asked all the right questions, a bunch of times, and they gave all the right answers, they just all happened to be lies. And they sold it at full blue book value, with all the problems, are you kidding me, if they had actually fixed everything and put new tires on and such, THEN your allowed to sell it at full blue book value.
Kiefer Mazda is a bunch of no good, lying, scum bag swindlers!!!
If I were you and buying a new car or used car, I would seriously go to ANYONE, besides Kiefer Mazda, you think your safe cause it’s not a mom and pop dealer, but your not, it’s still a lemon lot. I should have known from the commercials. And since I’ve started gripping about them to anyone I meet asking, I have found out that a lot of people have had problems with them.
My suggestion… do your research before you ever set foot on their lot. They don’t have the best history.
I wish I knew that sooner :(
