If you are into playing tennis, this place is tops. The front desk folks are so friendly(Jason) and they are here to help. I have been a member for about 18 years and it just continues to get better. They have new outside counts being built, it doesn’t get any better outside. Like an oasis in the middle of a busy city. I use the workout room, it gets the job done. My wive and I just love it.

Really questionable quality of staff. Son and I walked in with raquetball rackets, ask if they have a court(husband, on a previous tour of the place, said they did) available, and if they have raquetball balls we could borrow. They gave us tennis balls and showed us to a tennis court. I informed them they were mis-informed and we went to the YMCA downtown instead. At least the staff there knew what they were talking about.

I will not recommend this place to anyone, unless this is the only option you have left. The front desk staffs are nice and friendly, but the managements are awful, like Katie Lesley! They are rude and greedy! They don’t wanna help you at all, at least they are not trying to help!!! I have been having tennis elbow for about a year now, haven’t been able to play tennis at all. It’s just not making any sense to pay $ 200 to $ 300 a month. So I called them to see if it’s possible to suspend the membership for three month for me to fully recover, but still have my husband take private lessons once or twice a month. Basically they are saying that not only we have to pay $ 51 a month to maintain our membership, we can’t take any private lessons from their instructors at all, even if we agree to pay $ 60 per lesson per hour! As for the facility, it’s old and dirty, really needs some improvements.

Tried out the hot tub. They gave me a free weekend pass and I went two of the three days that the pass allows. It was pretty clean and good temperature. The locker rooms were big and clean as well. I went later at night and had the hot tub to myself. Good location. Prices are pretty high but it includes use of fitness center, classes for like yoga and hot tub.

I gotta drop it to 3. As far as Tennis is concerned, this place is 4+ stars. Im just not much of a tennis player, I’m about the weight room. What I’ve realized, is I dont care for the weight room as much as I thought I would. Weight room is strictly for maintenance. It’s really hard to get a good, creative workout done with the lack of useful machines and other free weight equipment. This isn’t a place to go to increase your strength or size. However, I do love the upstairs cardio area. Fans always blowing, clean and new equipment, never too busy. For this they keep the 3rd star. I will only use this place for running and conditioning.
