Calypso The Salon

I only come to Eugene a few times a year to visit family and friends, I always make arrangements to visit Denise Kalatzes at London who is now at Calypso. Excited and cannot wait to see her because she always pampers me. She is thrilled to be working with a great team at Calypso and I as always am happy to see her especially for my annual holiday hair!

Love, love, love Calypso!!! As the newest stylist to the salon I have watched these stylist work and all of the girls at Calypso are educated, artistic and provide amazing service to their clients! If your looking for an amazing cut, color, smoothing, updo or extensions Calypso definitely will give you results that will exceed all expectations.

Arianna at Calypso has been my stylist for over ten years. She is amazing. She stays on the cutting edge of styling and hair technique, every time she does my hair it is better than the last. She really listens to what I am looking for and styles according to what I like. She is always on time and professional. I also love the bumble and bumble products and jewelry that are sold at the salon. Calypso is my very favorite salon in Eugene by far. Highly reccomended!

I have to say, Stacy at Calypso has given me the best haircuts I have ever gotten in my life. I have naturally curly hair that has to be cut RIGHT by someone who knows what they’re doing. If you have naturally curly hair, GO SEE STACY! She actually specializes in curly hair and will not cut your hair too short or give you uneven layers, etc.
The people at Calypso are friendly but not pushy about products. They carry Bumble & Bumble, which are pricey, but good. The price is a little high at Calypso, but for me there’s no way I’d go anywhere else because I wouldn’t trust my tresses to anyone but Stacy!
The salon atmosphere is relaxing, and the Coburg Rd. location is so easy to get to. I highly recommend trying them out, especially if you have hair needs that aren’t typical, as the stylists seem very knowledgeable about proper hair care for different hair types and textures.
