They need to take delivery off of their list. We travel a lot, when we do we like to sit around & enjoy our where we end up, so we always look for nearby delivery or a place that has a restaurant within walking distance. This place had delivery on Unilocal. They do if you have really large orders, probably $ 50 or more, so they need to get off of Unilocal! Sincerely, D Englewood, Fl

For a quick lunch stop to/from the beach this is a casual and tasty BBQ option. The counter service was fast, correct and friendly. We got their chipped pork bbq sandwich and a side of beans. The bbq was sauced evenly and with a nice touch of vinegar and the baked beans were smokey, sweet and pipin’ hot. One of the associates was even thoughtful enough to notice we needed a bag while asking about where we were from.

Stopped by here on the way to Panama City Beach. Read the reviews and decided to give it a try. We all got chopped pork sandwiches and sides(Brunswick Stew, baked beans, and macaroni salad). All were good-especially liked the salad. The chopped pork was tasty with lots of crunchy bits. The mustard based sauce was different from what we’re used to in ATL, but it was good. Very unpretentious and worth another stop(maybe on the way back!)

This place was delicious. We stopped on our way home from the beach. The potato salad literally tastes like the most delicious ranch dressing you’ve tasted with potatoes! The beans were good as well. I had the chipped bbq which, being a dipper, didn’t make the task of dipping easy. My husband had the chopped chicken and I liked that too. They had too many sauces to truly get a gauge for what was good and what wasn’t. I primarily ate the sweet and mild and they were good. The only complete downer was the ladies room had pee all over the seat… Gross!

Excellent BBQ sandwiches for lunch in Eufaula, AL. We are from Charlotte, NC it was different from the Lexington BBQ we are used to. If you can get to Phil’s BBQ do it!

not quite as good as 2 years ago but not real bad. i just get the feeling they were indifferent if you stop or not … it reminded me that i felt this way the first time, as well… the ribs were still pretty good … i think they offer too many sauces, trying to be all things for everybody . the chicken was dry and not as good as before … i’m not so sure they are worth going too far out of the way to stop

In one word: Aaaaamazing! Fall off the bone ribs. With or without their famous sauce they are delicious. I’ve been traveling for a while in search of the best food spots in America and this gem is on the top of my list. I’m so happy I found this place. I had the ribs and the chipped bbq sandwich with beans and macaroni salad.

Pleasantly surprised to find good Carolina style BBQ in south AL. Worth the stop. Good sides, slaw without mayo, good potato salad.

I really like this place. I generally stop her for lunch and on way to and from Florida and have never had a bad meal. Typically, the meat is moist and tender and they offer five or so different types of BBQ sauces, some of which are homemade. The sides are good(baked beans and cole slaw are my favorites) and the desserts are yummy and homemade. If you like good Southern BBQ, then you can’t go wrong at Phil’s. The owner has taken down the signs on the main highway and you may need a GPS or smartphone to find the place. It is located on a side street one or two blocks off the main highway(Hwy. 431).

Great food. Stopped by on my way through from Atlanta(where we have endless choices) and I was very impressed. Great chopped sandwhich and 4 out of 5 stew. I’ll be back!

By FAR some of the best baked beans I’ve had in a while! We got the family meal deal which was like $ 40 with drinks, 2 sides, 1 ½ lbs of pork, and extra bread. Best deal if you got 2 hungry kiddos! We were very pleased with the service and the food! I gave it a 4 because of the location. It was kinda hard to find.

Baked beans the best ever!!! Chopped bbq was very good. Ribs were also excellent. Didn’t care much for the chipped bbq but otherwise awesome.

BBQ was average. I passed through the area at the right time and followed the signs to find a new place. It had a cafeteria feel — order at the counter and find a table with a nondescript plaid table cloth. The pulled pork was good and the baked beans and Brunswick stew were average. None of the sauces provided were very impressive, so I mixed the baked beans, stew, and pork which wasn’t too bad. Usually either the sides or the pork shines at this type of restaurant, and neither did here. I’d stop again if it was the right time during a trip through the area, but would just expect some quick average food at a reasonable price; no more, no less. They did have crushed ice and diet dr pepper so that’s worth a couple stars all on its own I suppose.

Initially we were excited to stop here after reading the reviews. To all my Georgia peeps beware because this is not like BBQ back home! It really didn’t have much flavor and the meat was mushy. There was a ton of bun and little meat. The cole slaw ad potatoe salad were good but if you are a BBQ place having good sides but poor butt’s doesn’t cut it. Wouldn’t go again.

Saw a billboard for this place on the way home from gulf coast. They opened at 10am and glad we stopped! Ordered chopped pork sandwich and rib sandwich along with potato salad. The meat had a great smoke flavor and tenderness. The potato salad was homemade and was very good. The people were also very friendly and quick service. We will definitely stop here on our next trip to the beach!

Stopped on the way back to Charlotte from Seaside, FL and really enjoyed the cue! My wife and I both got a pork plate. Mine with potato salad and coleslaw and hers with slaw and baked beans. The sides were all good with the potato salad being the shining star. The pork? YUM. Got it chopped and it was moist, tender with great smoke flavor and a ton of pieces with delicious, crunchy bark. The sauce is kind of mustard/vinegar based with varying degrees of heat. My wife thought it was just ok but I loved it. Reminded me sauce from Jenkins BBQ from back home in Jacksonville, FL. We would certainly stop here again if in the area.
