See my post on Spruce Lake, same owner, there is no hot tub here either he says its too expensive to heat it This park also has no grass at all or trees, total mud pit. Looks awful.

This is a beautiful park — no, it is not manicured like some parks — I would describe it as rustic but well maintained with a friendly staff. IMO, you stay here for the surrounding beauty, convenience and wildlife viewing. Not to mention tons of recreational opportunities. The first time I saw the park, I wasn’t overly impressed, but this is now my second trip here, as the location cannot be beat if you love the outdoors. The park really grows on you once you stay here. After seeing others in the area, I think this us the best option for a large RV.

I would never stay here again. The pool and hot tub were inoperable and closed. There is dust everywhere and no where to entertain or hang out with friends outside unless you move your table and chares to the road just in front of your rig. Our friends spot had the neighbers sewer connection less that 3 feet from their door and did not enjoy the smell. The sites are somewhat level, but there is no level ground between the sites. They are all very close together and on a steep incline. You can not even sit a drink on the picnic table because of the slope. On top of all this if you have a child with you they charge you an extra fee! Our neighbors used more water bathing their large dog than my son used taking a shower. So why the extra fee? The dogs weren’t charged a fee and they left poop on the campsite. My son didn’t hardly ever leave our coach since it was so dusty and dirty, no pool or any kind of amenities were available during our stay. So again I ask, why is there an extra kid tax??? The kids don’t use any more electricity than two adults. Is this just a way to discourage younger families with kids from coming to your park? We will NEVER camp here again! Too dusty, dirty, unlevel and we felt nickel and dimmed with he extra kid tax.
