ZERO customer service. 2 of the workers were so busy talking about getting high that they couldn’t help anyone in line. Then a 1.5 minute wait for egg rolls turned into 15 minutes of waiting. They ignored us, and then said please wait. I won’t waste another minute or dollar here. And management, besides having an untrained team, your crew passes out free food to all their friends, while PAYING customers have to sit and wait for a new batch. The tables and floors were sticky to top it off! I ended up leaving before getting what I paid for. Won’t be going back.

I paid extra for shrimp. She scooped up a spoonful and put it in my to go container. Then she starts picking shrimp out of my food and putting them back. What the!!! If I’m paying extra you better leave my shrimp alone! The place is clean but small.

Food is never fresh and they always forget my spring rolls. Last visit in the DT my food wasn’t placed properly in the bag. As I was driving, I noticed chow mein and sauce from my oc all over the place.

A little background before going into my recent experience of this Panda Express and why I rated it 2 out of 5 stars. My wife and I occasionally go to this Panda Express due to the convenience of the location and the drive-thru that is available. My wife usually gets her Panda Bowl with white rice and teriyaki chicken with extra sauce on top and I usually get a variety of food every time to change things up. They are usually very easy to work with when ordering and spot on most of the time. From time to time we might have to go in order to have them get their sauce game«on point» when it comes to their teriyaki chicken due to not receiving that much sauce from the drive-thru. But this time when we went through the drive-thru we have received a different experience and I have submitted this in their survey that they offer to rate them: While ordering my wife and I food through the drive-thru, the employee taking our order kept making mistakes while I was clear on what I wanted to order. I wanted to have a bowl to start out with and the intercom kept on going out and once it came back on then the employee got more frustrated with what were ordering. By the time of ordering a second item, the first order was turned into a plate item which I didn’t want to order but was assumed I wanted to have. The order was taken incorrectly and had to correct the order twice all the while the intercom system kept going out. Once the employee had the intercom back on the order was taken incorrectly and from there we noticed the manager or a more experienced employee had to take over in order to get our order correct. We received some attitude from the first employee by the way of her tone of voice becoming more aggravated from us ordering even though the intercom system was going out but the order kept on being wrong from what we saw on the ordering screen in the drive-thru. The manager or more experienced employee got our order correct the first time and was able to receive our food in a timely manner. The manager or more experienced employee was able to save the day when it came to ordering our food but the underlying feeling that we have been treated poorly still sits with us. We might not come back to this establishment due to the poor service we received from the first employee.

I love panda and this place makes the best food that I love to eat. This panda wants to serve you fast so you can enjoy for food hot and fast. I definitely recommend going to this panda.

Sometimes a burger isn’t want you’re craving and you don’t want fast food, so what’s available? Panda Express! You don’t have to sit down long and you don’t have to tip a server but you stay as long as you want to enjoy your meal… From fried rice to orange chicken, this place will leave you happy and full. It’s easy to get in and out of and the service is great. The dining area is spotless and their AC is on full blast which is great when it is 100+ degrees out! Visit this place when you want a decent lunch or dinner at a decent price.

Awful service. Food is decent but they just throw together food and give small amount of foods. Managers are rude and stingy, you can’t take your time ordering they will huff and puff the whole way, and don’t dare to ask for a sample … They might give you the crappiest piece. Won’t be going back.

I don’t normally write reviews for fast food places, as I generally know what to expect, but this time is different… After driving back late from Anaheim, my wife and I decided to stop by this particular location near where we live for a quick dinner. Upon our turn at the drive thru, I requested the honey walnut shrimp as part of my combo plate, which they informed me would take about 7 minutes to make. Not wanting to wait after my long car ride, I asked for Beijing beef instead. The girl working the window politely and quickly received my payment, handed me my food, and home I went. Once home and settled, I went to open the bag and noticed a small extra container in with everything else. Inside the little red box was a decent portion of the honey shrimp, which they were nice enough to gift me! That little bit of extra customer service has sold me on this location! Totally made my night!

The food is good but the portions are decreasing and the prices are increasing. It’s ok but definitely not worth 9.00 per plate for 2 items. There are many other restaurants out there with better food for less money.

Got a two item entrée from the drive thru. –The Orange chicken and the Kung pao chicken where very good. –the chow mein was a bit dry, but it was still tasty. –the employee that helped me was friendly. –the drive thru was pretty fast. Only issue is the portions are small for what you pay.

I do like panda express in general, and I love this shiny new location. Having a drive-through is a very nice bonus for people like me who end up only getting a short lunch break! I’ll probably continue to stop by here on occasion, but the meals are pretty fatty. The mushroom chicken(which I assume would be slightly healthy) was bathed in a sauce that almost made the meat soggy. All in all, the food is decent. :)

Food is always fresh and we’ll cooked, maybe because of the drive thru. This is my favorite location in all Escondido, employees are always nice and friendly.

I was super disappointed when the Tulip location closed. We eat at Panda Express A LOT so now I have to go further to grab dinner. When I started going to this Mission location, I also started having more negatives to my experience. The staff at this location are less friendly than the Tulip staff. They are less accommodating to requests. As an example, they HAD a reward program with a stamp card and one of the offers is a free drink. When I asked if I could pay to upgrade it to a larger drink, the person said they couldn’t do that. They had always done that at the Tulip store. When I asked someone on another occasion, that person did it, so inconsistent on what they can and cannot do. Also, every time I get an order from this location, SOMETHING is jacked with my order. One time it was the problem with the drink, another time they left out one of my fortune cookies… I mean, how do you share a fortune cookie??? This time, the server didn’t put my sweet and sour sauce in the bag for my spring rolls and on other occasions they have left out the sauces requested or put different sauces versus what I ordered. For a dipper like me, jacked up sauces is serious business. One time I had a server who put the smallest portions I’ve ever gotten at Panda. If you eat there all the time, you sort of get used to a certain portion size, so if you HALF it, well, that’s going to tick me off. Overall, Panda food is mostly the same. That said, for some reason every since I’ve been going to this location, the Orange Chicken(which is why we go to Panda, right?), has been weird. I know they don’t use chicken breast on this like they do with the Sweet Fire Chicken Breast, but it’s where I don’t even want to KNOW what part of the chicken they are using and I’m pretty sure I need to just stop ordering it. Maybe it’s a company wide problem, not just this location, but it was always good before. The newest food drama is they’ve introduced their new honey sesame chicken(boring) and in order to accommodate it, they are not carrying the Black Pepper Chicken. Again, I don’t know if this is a company wide thing or just this location, but my husband eats at Panda for the Black Pepper Chicken, so this is a serious bummer. Now on this last visit, I was told they were no longer going to have the reward card program. I know companies can change their programs. Intellectually, okay. But, why would you get rid of your reward program when a competitor JUST opened in your neighborhood AND they have a reward program? I don’t get it. I also, again, don’t know if this is a company situation or just this location. Maybe my unhappiness is a combination of company policies and this location, so maybe that’s not fair to give this location two stars, but every time I go there, I end up feeling pissed off or disappointed. For this reason, I’m not returning.
