Jim’s Air Conditioning and Heating

On December 3, P & K Condo Management recommended Jim Smith of Jim’s Air Conditioning and Heating to fix our furnace. The maintenance man, Jose, said that if we had Mr. Smith take off the coupler, he’d come back and fix the unit for free. Mr. Smith came out, tried to charge me double the quote, and when I later looked at the furnace, I realized that no work had been done at all. We still have no heat and are using an electric heater. Mr. Smith refuses to return our $ 80 and had the gall to say that he tried to light the furnace but it wouldn’t light. It had a faulty part and he could have started a fire. Because he is willing to rip off senior citizens, doesn’t give receipts for cash, and works out of a home which is worth more than a half a million dollars, according to
, I have reported him to the IRS. He and the people at P & K are liars, cheats, and scammers and did this dirty deed to the wife of a Viet Nam Veteran.

We hired Jim’s Air Conditioning and Heating because our heater was blowing out cold air. Jim answered the phone right away and sent his technician to my home within 30 minutes. Mind you this was a very cold day and other HVAC companies were not even returning phone calls. His technician, Billy, was extremely courteous and knowledgeable of our system. He worked quickly and efficiently. The system now runs beautifully. I highly recommended this company. Great service! Friendly staff!
