Everything I wanted a Carne asada burrito to be. well seasoned meat, good guacamole and fresh pico. I’m new to the neighborhood and am glad I found this place. It may take a little longer than some taco shops but I think it’s worth it.

I had a wicked craving for a fish burrito the other day and this was the closest place that I could think of to get one. And holy fish lips! That was the best (excuse my french) Darn fish burrito I have had in a LONG time! I also got a chicken taco which was equally as satisfying! Great flavor, nice and crunchy. It didn’t fall apart or leak it’s juicy deliciousness all over your hand. I am giving this place 4 stars because it didn’t have a drive thru. And let’s be honest, we all look for the drive thru’s first. ‘MERICA!

I went to this place and ordered a bean rice and cheese burrito. There were three people ahead of me so when I ordered my food, I went outside to wait. I saw my burrito on the counter above but they were just looking at me like they were gonna make me wait till the other people got their food first. They were talking shit about me in Spanish and I understand it. What a horrible place to be at. Horrible food and service. I will not recommend this to anyone

We went one afternoon after the fair and my bean and cheese burrito was pretty good. My son said that his carne asada burrito was just ok. My son in law had an unfavorable experience when he went… I might have to give them one more chance though… I will update once I do get a chance to get over there again

The gentleman who took our order was quite pleasant. Unfortunately the food was not. Their California burrito comes with egg in it. I thought that was a wonderful idea and since it was my first time eating there I wanted to order the burrito as it came just to gauge how I would like their food. By California burrito what they mean is potato burrito. There was almost NO carne in my burrito, it was dry and thick with nothing but potato. There was a very small amount of meat, cheese and egg if you could scavenge through the mess to find it. The carne that you could find in the burrito was nothing special. Would not recommend even giving it a try. Not worth your time or money where there are so many other Mexican restaurants in North County.

I ordered rolled tacos w guacamole and sour cream and son ordered a burrito I tip $ 2 on a $ 10 bill then my food comes without sour cream I ask for side of sour cream and she tells me you didn’t order with sour cream.
It will be 75 cents. Why you gotta be so rude? It’s a taco shop IN ESCONDIDO. C’mon son.

Food is good, but nothing upsets me more than calling in a phone order 15 min earlier than waiting 15 when I arrive. This happens every time. I’m guessing They’re paranoid of people ordering than not showing up. But what the hells the point of taking phone orders?
