I got my hair dyed and cut here on wednesday by Emma. I am very picky about my hair but she did such an amazing job! My hair looks better than it has in years. Emma was really nice and she cut and styled my hair exactly how I wanted it done. She is a great hairstylist who really cares about her clients. I have been to several other hair stylist who cared more about trying to make more sales than their clients.
Needless to say this is my new hair salon

So it’s safe to say I have been through dozens of stylists. The stylist here (Maria) did NOT disappoint.
First off, the salon is awesome. Warm, friendly welcome when I came in. A free consultation to discuss my wants/​needs/​options. Warm and cold beverages served to me like I was VIP. It was really pleasant and relaxing. We talked about my hair, made some appointments (2) sessions, and I was ready to be blonde again!
My first appointment went really well, not too long. Maria paid attention to what I said, and did what I wanted. I got a wonderful massage on my scalp and got to sit and relax.
The second session made it PERFECT! I love my hair. No more hideous yellow and mousy brown ombré. Now I have a cool, light blonde and a fabulous cut!
I will most certainly be going back there. I highly recommend this salon to anyone.

I have been going to Erin Perry at Elements Salon for 6 years now. Erin is the best! Scheduling is easy and she is always willing to work around my work schedule. I have had my hair done by her as well as eyelash extensions! The new hair extensions she is using are awesome! Erin is great with color, my highlights, and I always leave happy! Highly recommend!

Love this place. Today was my first time and I absolutely love my new hair I did a drastic change and I love it I also got my trial makeup done for my wedding and it was flawless. Special shout out to Emma and Mary for being so sweet and welcoming and doing an awesome job on me!

Diana gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had. She was so sweet and patient. I wasn’t sure how it would turn out because she worked so effortlessly, but the final result was amazing! I’m still checking myself out. I will definitely be back!

I absolutely love this place! Costumer service was great, they even asked me if I wanted something to drink. All of the stylists are friendly and welcoming. I went to Taylor for a cut and color. She did so great, I asked for caramel Balayage and she delivered! I’m never going to any other salon

I came in to cover my gray hair and have my hair lightened. Maria did an awesome job! Focusing on covering my gray hair and making my hair look great! I was nervous of where to go to since I can’t afford to drive far for my old stylist but she made my hair look just like I wanted. She took her time to make sure my hair wasn’t gray and my hair had a pretty color. I love it. Very nice staff. I highly recommend this place!

AWFUL! First time coming, because my hair dresser moved, and Maria was going to be my stylist, and I was thoroughly disappointed. So negative. So pessimistic, telling me that changing my hair will not happen and if so itd be $ 200 over many visits. She had a very condescending tone the whole time. Because she is the owner she’s feels entitled to be rude? I’ll take my business elsewhere and HIGHLY recommend you do too. Not worth the attitude. For doing hair for «30 years» you think someone would figure out hospitality and treating people with a kind demeanor. Good luck Maria.

Maria is amazing. I am the «hair model» in the numerous pictures on this site. Maria has taken me from a brunette, to a blonde bombshell with a few other auburn colors in between. She has given me bold bangs to cute bobs to fantastic hair flipping lengths. She is the only hairdresser to ever touch my hair and I hope the only one EVER to touch my hair. I am consistently complimented on my hair and i will continue to sing her praises to whomever will listen. Her strengths lie in her attention to detail and her honest opinions. For example, I begged her to turn my hair blonde — which she acquiesced on the condition that I knew it would take multiple visits and extra care. (Which I was game for!) Make sure to listen to her (and Diana) when they make suggestions on products and you won’t be disappointed. (Helpful hint: Faux blondies pick up perfect 4 platinum– your hair might look like barbie hair but it won’t feel like it after using this product!)

I’m not happy with how expensive it was but oh my was it worth it! The girl I talked to on the phone told me it would be $ 45 but it ended up coming up to $ 65 when I was done. *tear rolls down cheek*
I got my hair deep conditioned– it feels like silk — like softest hair you’re ever had upon your head
Also got a trim cuz my ends were killing me.
In all it was a great experience

Taylor saved my hair from horrible hair cuts and bad dye jobs. I’ve been going to her for the past year and I refuse to go anywhere else, even though I moved toward Oceanside. She is always taking care of me and making sure that my cut and color is exactly what I want (even if she has to try and interpret what I’m asking for). I would always recommend her and the rest of the staff there as the best around. Absolutely worth the travel!

After my past bad salon experiences I did my research and found Elements Salon! They are right by my house so I decided after all the great reviews I read to give the salon a try. I called in on a Saturday and was very happy they had availability for a cut and color! Automatically I loved the shabby chic salon because all the bohemian jewelry for sale! Shortly after I was introduced to Emma, who impressed me with her efficiency and her work. I’m a licensed Cosmo myself and I give her an A+
She listened to everything I wanted and I left with beautiful chocolate locks (and a cute bracelet lol)! Exactly what I wanted! I definitely recommend Emma she is very pleasant, professional and has her self a new client!

I came here today by chance, only looking at other reviews on Unilocal.I was able to make a same-​day appointment (although I’m not sure if they’re able to do that on a regular basis). This is a smaller salon and it’s neat and clean. I had a notion that I wanted a short bob, but Maria explained why that may not work for me. She asked me a lot of questions to get to know my lifestyle so that she could cut and color my hair to match. I’ve never been asked those questions before, and I’ve been to some good salons in my life. It makes me wonder why no one has asked me. I love the new color and cut. I also love that Maria taught me how to style my hair and didn’t just do it for me. I definitely recommend this place!

After the last person I had gone to for balyage highlights raised her prices 40%, I decided to go somewhere else. I wanted less maintenance with one hair color and a cut. I called Thursday hoping they could get me in om Saturday and luckily a stylist was available!
I had an appointment with Taylor. She was very personable and knowledgeable and really explained to me the colors and tones (which I usually just do basic dark brown) and helped me choose the right color.
My color came out perfect! Dark brown with some red just like I wanted. The cut is perfect too! Its been a long time since I have found someone that cuts my hair how I like it. I am so glad that I went to Elements for my hair. I definitely recommend them and will be a repeat customer.

Maria did a wonderful and amazing job with my hair! I am so in love with my new look! It was all I asked for and she delivered! I will be coming again and bringing in my husband for his hair:)

I came in here after inadvertently dying my hair ORANGE. As my regular hair dresser was unavailable, they were able to squeeze me in ASAP. I had Taylor who worked on my hair for over 4 hours to make it perfect! I couldn’t be happier and I think I’ve learned my lesson about at home hair products! I would highly recommend Taylor

I called and made an appointment the morning of and Maria was very accommodating. After going to a different salon previously I was hopeful to try something new. Maria cut her hair and I have to say this is without a doubt the best hair cut she’s had. The layers and length were perfect. She was so patient and kind with my daughter and made her feel so comfortable. When we left my daughter said «Mom, she knows what she’s doing. I only want to get my hair cut here from now on» and I agree!

Maria listened to my request and did exactly what I wanted and more!!! She did caramel colored peek-​a-​boos and fixed my short layers. My hair looks and feels amazing :) I’ve been to other salons before and was never completely satisfied with end result. I will definitely be coming here again to see Maria!!!

Went in and saw taylor for a hair cut and balayange. My hair came out soft and shiny. Glad I found this salon!

Erin has been doing my hair for years and I have referred many friends to her and they all have been really happy!

I had a trim done there a few months ago and absolutely loved it. You see I’m growing out my hair and finding a hairdresser who actually listens to me when I say «just a dusting… not even a quarter inch please» and actually listens and doesn’t cut off 2 months of growth is a godsend. My hair is in fairly good condition and doesn’t need to be hacked off or «fixed». I know doing trimmings aren’t exciting but it’s what I ask for and what I expect to get. Very happy with what I have got.
Had my eyebrows done a few weeks ago and they did a beautiful job and I will be returning in a week or 2 for a touch up. I definitely recommend.

I’ve always been really afraid to get my hair done. Before I found Elements, I’d walk out with hair that felt like straw and I’d immediately throw it into a bun and re-​wash and condition it when I got home. Then I found Jon!
I walked in and asked about extensions and highlights, and set an appointment with Jon, not reading any reviews and trusting the salon, and I am so happy! If you haven’t had extensions, they are very tedious. Jon is such a pro and is so patient. He’s just ridiculously talented and knows how to keep me alert during a two hour appointment with his sense of humor. He trims my bangs exactly how I want them, colors my hair something beautiful, and I walk out feeling like a million bucks. I wouldn’t dream of putting it in a bun after I leave!
I recommend him every time I’m paid a compliment on the color (because the extensions so flawless no one notices they’re not real ;)). I’m coming to see you, Jon!
