This place seems smaller than the older location. It’s clean for the most part, but never has anything in stock I need/​want. Employees are alright– I’ve noticed that they only talk to you if you say anything to them. The area in general is filled with homeless or druggies so I park close by and get in and out as fast as possible.

Actually, I miss the old location. They seem to have had a better selection of some things like plastic storage baskets and office supplies before they moved to the new place in the same shopping center. They seem to have a new staff, too, so if they do I hope the old crew, led by Manny, got relocated to another store. I have had much better luck finding what I need at the other Escondido location.

The staff is extremely friendly, the manager looks like he’s 18 but he seemed as if he loves his job. This location was surprisingly one of the most clean and well organized that I’ve been to. I’ll definitely be coming to this location from now on because it’s closer to me, the only bad part was that the surrounding area is a little sketchy but I’m just going there to go in and go out.

Out of all the dollar stores in town, it it much cleaner and organized. It easy to stop by for a quick item.

I love that I spend 100s of dollars at a restaurant and write a review that says ewwww, but then I still shop at Dollar Tree and LOVE IT. Mind you, I come for craft stuff and seasonal decorations. This particular dollar tree is super clean and they are always stocked. If you need quick decorations and you are not a hoarder, COME HERE.
Okay, so sometimes I buy candy, too. Leave me alone.

Great cheap shopping experience. This Dollar Tree is just next to one of my favorite shops (one of my not so hidden secrets, Z Fashion) and is of mandatory visit when in Escondido. Even if I don’t need to buy, once there I get some stock of items that at Vons or other supermarkets will cost me 3 times more, like bleach, all sorts of detergents, laundry stuff, toilet paper (do not expect Costco quality but hey, that is flushed away immediately anyways:) and all sorts of cleaning items you might need.
Do not go there for groceries (like in the 99 cent stores) because you won’t get that and the variety of the canned items is not that great for my taste. But still, it is a very nicely organized (well, people touch and touch all the plastic containers kitchen related but that is the nature of this type of shop, not many people to put some organization immediately after) and clean, and service is fast.

This store is pretty good. I mean you don’t really go to the dollar tree for the shopping experience which is good because it’s not great in the service area. But again — you are going there for the dollar prices not the smiles.
It’s great for seasonal stuff and party supplies. Also for cleaning supplies.
