Order the«side» of LA Cinnamon Bread, it’s giant and delicious.(Big enough to split) Don’t forget to your pillow so you can enjoy a nap during your sugar coma!

Very disappointed… waited at least 40 minutes for our breakfast! and then one meal was cold. Neither the server nor the management showed any concern when I expressed my disappointment. Breakfast took almost 2 hours! Received one star… it was cheap. Will not go back.

I actually loved this place and I am usually picky. It had a small town diner feel and the people were super friendly. I am vegetarian and they have some options but get the CAJUNEGGS. It was amazinggggg. It’s a cute place had the home feels.

I got to visit this place for the first time. This was my very first trip to Erie and my friend suggested we come here for breakfast because it was close and the food was cheap. Needless to say, yes the food is cheap. The service is great i certainly will have to admit that but i was not blown away by their food. I ordered potato pancakes, over easy eggs, sourdough toast, bacon, hash browns and breakfast sausage. First, you have to make sure that if you want sausage that you ask for BREAKFASTSAUSAGE! otherwise they will give you Italian sausage, not sure of this is just a PA thing or what but my friend made sure to tell me before i ordered. The potato pancakes were not great, don’t other ordering them. The hash browns weren’t all that great as well, just your average hash brown. Overall if you’re looking for a cheap, easy place to eat head to this place for sure.

Tried to go here twice over the last year. Both times there was no hostess/host to greet any incoming customers. This caused a huge backup of people at the front door, forcing people to stand outside in not so great weather. If you’re this busy, learn to run a restaurant. When a server or «manager» came to finally greet and sit customers, they were very rude and rushed the patrons along. Safe to say, we will never try to come back. We try and go with local places when we go out to eat but this place will never be on that list again. If i could rate lower than one star, i would.

Would recommend staying home and having a frozen breakfast over this. How could a place that only serves breakfast mess it up. I will not return this is my second time and both horrible.

Great spot for a good, low priced breakfast served with a diner-style atmosphere. They just need to expand because it gets a little crowded easily.

My family and I went to the Breakfast Place in early June on a Monday morning. There were 10 of us. The server mentioned something about getting the tables situated and the next thing I see we end up in three booths in a row making it impossible to talk, see each other, etc… We had two different waitresses as well. My parents food came out about 3 – 4 minutes after my sisters and my family ordered. So the food finally comes out and we needed powdered sugar for my one sons pancakes, a cinnamon roll for my wife. Drink refills, funny. I am drinking water which costs the restaurant a lot. I tell my son not to worry about the powdered sugar and the next thing I see is our waitress take a small cup over to my niece and then go disappear again. My wife still has no cinnamon roll. I track her down at the register, remind her we still need a cinnamon roll and powdered sugar. She was like I thought I gave it to you. Her original plan was to walk over to my sisters families table and grab the powdered sugar from my niece. Fortunately she came to her senses after she realized it was used and told us she would get a fresh one, like she was doing us a favor. She was an awful waitress. My parents had a young girl who was all over the restaurant, pleasant, and efficient. The sad part is the food was REALLY good! I had the country fried steak which was excellent. I had some potato pancakes and they were VERY tasty as well. Next time I’m in Erie I’d risk going again as long as I don’t have that waitress again. Food was good, and the price was right.

There is a very good chance I might never come back, but only because I’m just passing thru. If I lived here I would definitely make this place a regular breakfast stop. Oatmeal great. Bacon amazing. Cinnamon Roll WOW.

You really shouldn’t go here unless you are white. Otherwise the staff will be pained to speak to you and you will have a bad table.

Great food, great prices, and great service. Everything was fresh and delicious. You should definitely get the«Must Try» sandwich! The cinnamon roll was fantastic. Don’t let the outside of the building fool you, it’s really nice and clean inside. Plenty of seating. The menu isn’t overwhelming and they seem to have perfected the items listed. Very happy with this choice!

My boyfriend and I went here for breakfast this morning and it was absolutely delicious! I ordered the frittata(half portion) and it was still huge! Such a tasty combination of eggs, potatoes, sausage, peppers, mild peppers, onions, andcheese! My boyfriend loved the eggs and french toast as well. If you’re in the area, it is worth the stop!

To be clear, I’m speaking about the Peach Street location where there are parking spaces in the front, and the door is on the side with a red sign that says«The Breakfast Place» and there is a red awning above the door. Some of the pictures shown are of the other location. It was not great. I’m not sure why this place is receiving so many good reviews. Confusion with the other place? Are they even owned by the same people? First, it was loud and crowded. I had the Steak and Eggs, and for a place that boasts their famous steak and eggs on their menu, the steak was pretty bad. I ordered it medium-rare, and the done-ness was okay, but it was merely a chewy grey slab of flavorless beef. It was not seasoned at all, and there was no char on it what-so-ever. My eggs were bland and flat. Granted, my meal was only $ 7.99, but you get what you pay for. The low quality was not even worth the cheap price. I just think if a place is going to boast their steak, they need to invest in a grill and take a little care into tenderizing and seasoning their beef.

Thank you Unilocal once again! Loved this yummy breakfast joint! Hashbrowns! Hard to get these in MA, I miss them so. Although their hashbrowns weren’t crispy they were buttery tasting, which I loved! Their wheat toast was really delicious too. Fast hot yummy diner food with friendly waitresses that say«Hun» and«sweetie». Kiddy French toast sticks were nice and crispy so they didn’t soggy. Parking Is tight on the weekends, the place gets packed!

Perfect greasy spoon diner, albeit for one rude customer, but we’ll get to that… My eyes zeroed in immediately on the fritatta. Sausage, onions, green peppers, hashbrowns, banana pepper AND and egg cooked on top. DONE! It was delicious. The menu allows for you to order a full size and half size. I was hesitant to order the half, because I was hungry, but geez was I glad I did. The half portion is pretty much a full portion and the full portion has to be ginormous! I could only finish half of my half portion! Service was extremely friendly. But this one impatient dude screamed at our host in the middle of the dining room because he thought we had been sat before him(we were in fact there first). He was sat ONESECOND after us… but dang man, chill out. I hope this isn’t what most customers are like, because I feel bad for the staff. Especially because they’re so nice. The only incredibly minor and nit picky thing I’d note is that I smelled smoke in the restaurant and even though I knew it was non-smoking, I realized that some of the staff were hanging out an open door from the kitchen smoking. I realize this is being super anal, but maybe just fully go outside and smoke, and shut the door behind you. I’m not down with the smoke smell with my eggs. Other than that, great food and I’d for sure be back!

Pretty standard breakfast fare, with some wonderfully surprising exceptions. Weekly specials have included off-the-chain sweet potato pancakes, and really nicely done blueberry pancakes. Super cheap. Dependable, consistent. Land here at least one day if you’re visiting.
