If the option to give this place no stars were there, I would take advantage of that option and not give it any. This is probably one of the WORST florists I have ever used. I placed an order on their website on a Friday morning, with the thought process that if they didn’t have the flowers required for the arrangement that I wanted they would have time to order them and receive them in for the Monday delivery I was requesting. This was important as I had specified that Substitutions were NOT acceptable. Monday morning(the day the delivery was to take place) my cell phone was ringing off the hook, apparently teleflora sent the order that morning and they didn’t have the flowers– could they substitute? The whole purpose of me ordering on friday was that should have given them Friday & Saturday to obtain the proper flowers(as for teleflora– called them direct, they deny that orders on a florist’s website goes through them to the florist — and they had no record of my order number) I told them absolutely NOT. This was an arrangement that people were chipping on for a co-worker, we picked out the end of the rainbow arrangement for a very specific reason and that was what we wanted.(this arrangement was $ 52.95 with an $ 8.00 delivery charge) I agreed to let Joans Flower Shed order the proper flowers so that we would have the arrangement that we ordered. In spite of the florist or teleflora dropping the ball on this, I was not offered any type of upgrade or delivery charge waive or anything… and now the arrangement was a day late… this wasn’t MY fault… anyway I digress. I really just wanted the arrangement that my co-workers and I kicked in for and figured it wasn’t the end of the world that it would be a day later then we wanted… still kind of mad though that she offered no goodwill gesture(and a BRAND new customer nonetheless) The flowers came the next day as promised. They looked nothing like the photo that we ordered. The vase was completely wrong, the colors were off, there was a ridiculous bow on the arrangement(supposed to have a bright contemporary flair to it — ridiculous is an UNDERSTATEMENT)…it looked like a cheap grocery store arrangement that at the most cost about $ 20…not the $ 52.95 we spent for it. When the recipient sent a picture of her arrangement my co-workers and I were HORRIFIED and terribly embarrassed… this was NOT what we ordered. Called teleflora, told me that it had nothing to do with them since it was ordered on the Joansflowershed website. Called the florist 3 times with not even the courtesy of a call back. Wrote them a scathing email highlighting the photo of what we had ordered along with the photo of what the recipient got. NORESPONSE. I gave her options, either send out what we ordered EXACTLY what we ordered out the next day, credit my card or I was calling Amex and disputing the charge. No apology, no return phone call NOTHING… well with their minimal business hours and no return phone call, I guess they are rolling in the money. That being said I hope that no one throws them any more of it. I tried to support my local business the little guy in corporate America and I got pooped on! I guess in the future I will support Corporate America flower companies to send out stunning flower arrangements to my NH friends.
