Best craft brews in the area n a sweet newly expanded bar area. Plus food is always different do to the always changing food trucks. Pizza is always available also. It’s a must stop in my travels to that area

St. Boniface Craft Brewing is the kind of place you like to have close to home. They do smaller batch offerings along with year-round classics. And they get creative in ways that keep a curious beer drinker interested and coming back. The down side of the smaller batches is that sometimes a girl from out of town will stop by and just won’t be overly excited about anything in her flight. My flight consisted of the Pilsner, ESB, 3lb IPA, Belgian Pale Ale, Berliner Weisse and Belgian Dubbel. My favorite of the bunch was the Berliner Weisse, probably because it was not as sour as I expected. They have a nice little taproom and offer salty snacks. Upon our arrival there was a food truck outside which seems like a normal occurrence. I saw both growlers and crowlers but didn’t leave with either. I feel strongly about rating St. Boniface a solid 3 stars but I see the potential for 4 or 5 stars depending on what’s available. Unfortunately I don’t live close enough to stop by often enough to find out. If you’re a local, I’d check in frequently for new and exciting brews. If you’re an out-of-towner, it could be hit or miss based on what is on tap.

I have to say that this brewery is awesome! As soon as you walk in, the place as a very chill vibe. One of the staff members behind the bar was super friendly and informative on the beers. My girlfriend and I got a flight to sample everything, and the beers were great! I also like the fact that popcorn is free, and food trucks come by if you’re hungry for something substantial. If you are ever in the area, you must go to this brewery!

Current Stout is worth the hour drive for us, xxipa is great, service is mediocre, bartender isn’t good at multi tasking

J loved the Hegemony Stout and I got the cider(I know my pick wasn’t a beer and is from a local winery but it was good anyway). The place is very simple. Almost no décor and is industrial-looking but it is a brewery and decorations aren’t really necessary at all. It has it’s charm as is. Both bartenders were very nice and chatty. They have no food in the place but a different food truck parks every weekend there and you can eat it inside. Today it was a bbq truck. Can’t comment on that because we didn’t order anything. We had a nice time.

Without a doubt the best beer being brewed in Lancaster County. Prices are insanely reasonable. Well worth the trek from Philly. Flights of 8 were $ 8! Growlers only $ 10; except for the Belgian which was $ 12. Favorites were: ESB, Hegemony Stout, Libation DIPA and Offering #4, a Belgian Tripel made w/Peaches. Others were Wheat Ale, Pale Ale, Ipa,& Black Currant Stout. All were extremely enjoyable. Beer perfection. Go here now! New location on 322 in Ephrata; near Elite Coach.

A welcoming environment for beer lovers young and old! The brewery is «bare bones,» which in this reviewer’s opinion adds to it’s charm! There was a good selection of brews, especially if you enjoy IPAs. For those foodies out there, this watering hole does not have a kitchen but local food trucks serve up their fare. The day I was there, the selection was BBQ and it was delish! It also seemed like at a certain hour, pizza delivery from a nearby pizzeria was an option. The bartending staff was great… a reason alone to check this place out!

This place is fantastic! I’ve been to their old location(near Doneckers) and now at their current space for the grand opening. My wife and my 2 girls went and joined two of our friends there. It was packed, but the hostess was extremely helpful and hot a high chair for our 3 year old. We had the pizza made by The Fridge, all of the styles we tried were excellent. I am truly disappointed with the other 2 reviews I saw here on Unilocal,it lowers my trust I this site.

I just like this place. It is not a typical brewery. They have the guts to try new and different things and that makes it a fun place to go. For people who like more common brands of beer like Miller, this is probably not going to be your favorite place. This is a beer enthusiasts’ joint! Ya gotta really love beer to fully appreciate this craft. They invite good food trucks to provide food. It is not a typical style brewery and restaurant. It is a more rustic building and there is a unique and enjoyable atmosphere.

Love this place, love the beers. There, that says it all. Been a fan of their Hegemony for a long time, but now I’m smitten by the Libation DIPA. One of the best craft beers in the state, certainly the best in Lancaster County. The place is a old building converted into a brewery with a large tasting ares, tables, restroom and some outdoor seating. For food they bring in a rotating group of local food trucks. Works for me. Nice guys, they love what they do, making good beer. My only complaint was their short hours, but now they’ve expanded their schedule, so I’m happy!

Stumbled upon this place when we were visiting different sites in the area. I have to say that the beer was very good. The Stout was definitely my favorite by far. It was great because my toddler was even able to hang out(We were there in the middle of the day with few patrons.) The bartender was excellent and took time to explain each beer in the sampler and answer any questions we had. Baby girl had the run of the place and explored every corner. All in all it was a great experience.

Best and most consistent beer brewed in Lancaster County, and I’ve tried them all. I don’t dislike any of their brews, but the Hegemony Stout and Libation 2XIPA are incredible, complex beers. The ESB is a very drinkable and enjoyable session ale. They often offer small batch, limited time brews as well that are good(Black Currant Stout in the winter is solid, and their«Offering» series is unique). The location is simple and no-frills but still welcoming and easy to get to. The inside is industrial and not fancy, but much of the brewing process is visible and open. Staff and brewmasters are friendly and helpful and love to share the brewery’s story.

Anyone who really enjoys GOOD beer, will love this place. Every single beer was delicious! I love the concept of various food trucks providing food… The guys behind the bar were really nice and knew what they were talking about. I love the story of St. Boniface. Prices were very reasonable AND we got a chance to chat with the brew master himself. We ended up buying two growlers our first time there. Offering #4 and Paideia, of course! Second trip was to the Grand opening and they did not disappoint. Husband and I are loving this place! The Maraschino/Habanero was awesome! I am not a shandy person– often compare it to pine sol– BUT they made shandy slushies and bc it was so damn hot, I thought I’d give it a try. very good and refreshing! All the beers are solid and flavorful. Best brewery yet! You guys rock!

I actually checked this place out with Katherine M. who gave it one star. I guess I enjoyed myself quite a bit more. I had been wanting to go to St. Boniface since it was more of nano-brewery and at its old location. Maybe my experience was different because I didn’t have high expectations and was fully expecting a home-grown feel. In fact it was a little more commercial than I expected. I liked my beers. They weren’t stellar, but I didn’t dislike them. They were also offering Hegemony Stout ice cream floats which my boyfriend had and really enjoyed. Beer floats get points in my book. This is not a brew pub. It’s just a tasting room and a very basic one at that. I like their approach to offering food which is to host a food truck in the back lot. I believe the trucks rotate. The night we were there the Bountiful Feast Gourmet food truck was there. That couple that runs the truck couldn’t have been nicer, so check them out if you come across them.

I am majorly underwhelmed here. To start, I began my adventure here of course by finding the online site. The branding seemed good, and I prepared myself for a nice, yummy beer treat. Upon entering, I got the feeling I was in someone’s garage. A painted one, but still a garage. The industrial sized AC units were chilling some of the tables far too much, so there were only a few tables you could sit at and actually be comfortable. Atmosphere was just awful — a little bar in the middle. The staff wasn’t friendly. They didn’t want to describe the beers and didn’t even ask if we wanted to open a tab. For a small place that wasn’t even half full, that made no sense. The beer was the final blow for me. I absolutely hated everything. The wheat ale was far too hoppy for wheat ale and mostly tasted like bad cereal. The special belgian brewed with peaches was really sour in the weirdest way(and this coming from someone who likes lambics) and not peachy at all. I didn’t even try a second glass. Thankfully, they had some local white wine. The little food truck out back was cute though. Decent fries!
