HUGE fan of Ephrata Pizza. The best pizza joint in the area. Their bread is really what sets them apart though, absolutely phenomenal. I recommend their hoagies, the Italian sub and cheeseburger sub are really really good, but their whole menu is solid. Highly recommended.

Living just around the corner from this great little Italian pizza shop has spoiled my daughter to the point that she doesn’t like spaghetti from anywhere else. Can be ordered with or without meatballs(daughter is a strictly sauce gal), comes with a side salad and some of their fantastic bread, which can be upgraded to garlic bread(hope you like garlic!) for a small charge. The hoagies are made with their fresh bread, and you can order a standard, such as Italian, American, meatball, cheeseburger, etc. Adding or subtracting ingredients, or just ordering a custom blend is no trouble. Pizza, whether thin and crisp, or thicker Sicilian style, whichever your choice, both are wonderful. The owners of this restaurant are the real deal, and travel back home to Italy at least once a year, to connect to their roots and family. Just doesn’t get better than that!

Was sent here by a local to get a little takeout. We got a meatball sub, an Italian and some stuffed shells. Everything was okay, nothing special really. Service was friendly but the counter person seemed to have trouble with any requests — like ‘dressing on the side’. Kept having to think about that. I suspect the counter person was the owner, so what gives? Lots of locals came in while I was waiting. Clearly a lot of repeat business. We’d go back, but try and make it easier for him.

This shop knows how to make the crust very light in Stromboli and their bruschetta is so fresh and selfish. Nowhere have I eaten that great!

This is the best place in the area for sandwiches. They bake their own bread, but that’s not what sets them apart – other places do that as well, but Ephrata Pizza’s is the best. It’s warm, flavorful, and has just the right amount of chewiness on the inside. It’s fantastic by itself, but throw in any of their fresh meats, vegetables, and/or sauces, and it’s easily one of the most perfect sandwiches I’ve ever had. Prices for the sandwiches and hoagies are good; they range from around $ 3 to about $ 7. I’ve had pizza here before and I wasn’t too taken with it(partly due to an abundance of flour on the bottom of the pie, and also because Little Nicky’s pizza is so good and only across town) but it wasn’t bad. It’s all about the hoagies here, though. You can’t go wrong with the plain Italian, and their cheeseburger sub is sublime. They use actual meat, unlike some places that buy a synthesized amalgamation of soy protein and God knows what else. Even local places I’ve been to are guilty of using that kind of crap; the char marks painted on to «hamburger» manufactured to the point where Dr. Frankenstein would curse himself for not thinking of their method. But I digress – this place is the real deal, and you’d do well to see for yourself.
