Disgusting place. A non-smoking facility so everyone smokes outside all night long. The people above me worked odd hours so came home at midnight and were up till 4am. Of course in these cheap buildings you hear every single noise… the constant walking back and forth, dropping stuff, running kid… I asked for another room and they wouldn’t give one to me! Seriously?! So no sleep at all all weekend. Between the noise and smoke… just don’t waste your money!

Wonderful and accommodating staff, great size TV, A/C/heat, fridge, microwave and comfy enough beds. A tad dated but clean and cozy. It’s honestly excellent for the money. I’m so glad we gave it a shot. We will stay here again.

Rooms don’t look or feel very clean for $ 100/night, walls are thin, and whatever you do, DONOT take the front desk’s taxi recommendation(they have stacks of business cards for this guy named Shelby). Made the mistake of getting a couple rides from him, sketchiest person/driver I’ve ever experienced… and probably not licensed. Overall, would not go back.

4 stars for a 2 star hotel. Went boarding at Crystal Mountain and this was the perfect location for the price. Heater heated the room. Shower had water coming out of the shower head. The Zenith TV brought back fond memories of the 90s. Fridge kept my beer cold. I would stay here again for sure!

Good service, clean rooms, pool. I liked the sliding glass door that led out into a grassy area. The proprietors went out of there way to help me after I lost my car keys at Mt Rainier.

On our way up Mt. Rainier we popped a tire, moments later a crown fell off one of my teeth, and storm clouds converged to let loose early snow in October. Our one silver lining was the King’s Valu Inn which had a very friendly, helpful and flexible staff and more importantly as we stared down the prospect of buying new tires, very reasonable rates. For $ 50 + tax we were given a nice queen bed with a TV and a good wireless connection. My only gripe… the spelling of Valu, but if you can see past that it’s all good.
