Not what we expected. The lobby was clean and nice, but our room was not good at all. Stains all over the carpet. Scuffed up walls. The room was very small. The staff was very friendly and the bed wasn’t too uncomfortable, but we felt like we were in a hotel that rents out to long term residents/extended stay.

Highly recommended! Very good customer service at the front desk and on the phone. 2 queen beds with plenty of fluffy pillows, HD flatscreen tv with Direct TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker… under $ 80. The room & bathroom are clean and looking very sharp. No musty smell or stains in the room. Hot water with plenty of pressure! My only complaint is the amount of out-of-room noise you can hear.

OK for the price. Room was reasonably clean. Walls could probably use a bit more sound-insulation. Side door card reader didn’t work but the fire door beside it doesn’t close properly, so I guess that balances out. Wifi was a gamble at best and the printer was out of order, so probably not a great place for working remote. Housekeeping seemed to have trouble calculating the number of towels required by 2 adults. For our 3-day stay the counts were: 1, 0 and 3. Never actually hit on the magic number of 2. Overall, though, it’s a fairly decent place, considering.

First off, NOHOTWATER. When I checked in, the person at the counter said it was out and was not going to be fixed anytime soon. My coworkers already checked in and were not aware of the hot water issue, hence why I stayed. Room was small, and nothing in the room. Bed, phone, TV and an ironing board. Iron had«stuff» stuck on it and wasn’t useable. When asked about some discount for at least the hot water issue, was told nothing could be done because it was something that was out of their control. WHAT??? Neither I nor our business will ever be back.

Good: The suite room is nice and cute, with fridge and microwave; Quiet, though a bit far away from town, 30+minutes from Hershey or Turkey Hill, 10+ minutes drive to food or supermarket; We love the window view; Fair breakfast with warm pancake; Gas station right in front; Very good wifi. Not so good: No soap or shampoo or anything in the bathroom; the carpet at the corner back the door are not very clean with some noodle or something like that;

This is my first stay at Microtel Inn and I’m very impressed. My room has the charm of a higher class hotel. The great qualities are: — New carpet — New bedding — Direct TV — Flat screen TV — Large Bathroom — Amazing hot shower — Unlimited towels — Pantene trail shampoos — Gas station close by — CHEAP Con: — Location. It’s not really close to anything — Thin Walls but tolerable.

The price was right, but i guess you get what you pay for. The breakfast was disappointing. Most things were gone when we arrive 30 minutes before breakfast ended. And the orange juice seemed to be fermented. We had to have the sheets changed on one of the beds as there were hairs and stains on the sheets. The staff was very accommodating on this issue. And we chose this hotel largely because of the outdoor pool. It was virtually unusable because of the layer of bugs and derby on the surface. Someone should check the filter! Lastly the walls are paper thin. We could clearly hear everything going on in adjacent rooms. Not sure I would stay here again.

Family in the area told us it was recently remodeled because it recently was under new ownership/management. The room had a comfortable bed, Direct TV, a nice flat screen television mounted on the wall. However, the refrigerator was loud, the heat worked poorly, and the bathroom and fridge were not cleaned well. The lobby had a strange, unpleasant odor. The packages of oatmeal at the continental breakfast were old and outdated, but you could make your own fresh waffles. Wouldn’t stay here again, wish I had thought to check out reviews before booking.

I have stayed at this Microtel numerous times. It is not the greatest, but normally ok. A few weeks ago, I stayed for several days. I noticed a few flying insects(like ants with wings) on the first night, but didn’t think much of it. On the last day of my stay, woke up to find thousands of the little buggers all over my bed. I reported the issue to the manager. He shrugged his shoulders and didn’t offer to refund any of my money. Needless to say, I will not be back. Ever. I posted a picture, in case you were thinking of stopping here!

Underwhelming. While this was my first, and probably last, stay at this location; I am a fan of the chain. I reserved a one-bed queen after visiting the location’s website to ensure it had the amenities I seek in hotels. The website list: — alarm clock — breakfast — business center — cable tv — coffee maker — elevator — hairdryer in room — iron — ironing board — jacuzzi — microwave — outdoor pool — pool — refrigerator — small pets allowed What I got was a two-bed queen room(I am not amused by tripping over the extra bed) with a tv(analog signal), an iron in a European style closet(think IKEA freestanding) and a run of the mill typical loud hotel room hairdryer. No coffee maker, no fridge, no microwave. To be fair there is a microwave and fridge in the lobby in the breakfast area, and there is a coffee pot there too(note: only has coffee during breakfast hours) and I probably should have noted«hairdryer in room» as a clue, but I’m unimpressed with the reality versus the representation. Note to the pet-lovers: there’s a sign behind the desk«No Pets» It’s clean and neat, reasonably priced, and with easy access to the highway, which you’ll need because the only food and beverage access within walking distance is one tea-totaling, convenience store. Maybe there is a room or two in the hotel with all the amenities listed, but I think that should be clearly identified. If my plans had been longer than the 2 nights I reserved… I’d been outta there. I want coffee at 5AM without getting dressed and hiking to a convenience store.
