Nothing About this place impressed me. Waitress was rude from the time we sat down. Burgers tasted like something the school cafeteria would serve. I usually give a place a 2nd try but since the waitress has no ounce of nice, I won’t be returning.

I went to Flamingos for the first time tonight. I haven been hearing some good things about it. I was unsure about kids going into so I called ahead to make sure. He replied with«We are not just a bar we are a restaurant». Like I should have known this. I felt that was a little rude, but I am still giving 4 stars because the burgers are amazing. I know they are mostly a bar, but if you are going to advertise yourself as a restaurant I think you should offer more than burgers, chips, nachos and Chili. Now if you said you were a bar, that would be different. No?

The greatest chili and burger. The staff is excellent and very courteous. Good place to hang on a cold afternoon.

An Enid classic. Always good for a burger and beer, friendly folks on both sides of the bar. But Jay *could* put up a few more OSU Cowboys decorations I like the Double-double, w/grilled onions and a cup of chili. Plenty of cold beer. Always good We’ll be back the next time we’re in town!

I love the Flamingo! It is one of the most unique places I have ever been. If you have been there you know about the chips on the wall, pool tables and the 1980s video games that no one ever plays. The menu is simple, this place is one of the best greasy spoon burger joints period the end ! Great burgers and the people of Enid are the salt of the earth.

Greasy dive-bar with subpar chili and ok burgers. Always dark and stuffy, lit by the gentle glow of a chip-warmer. The place looks hazy and almost otherworldly, like it hasn’t changed the entire time it’s been in business and the patrons have never left. Not exactly the fun hole-in-the-wall, but a dive in the truest sense. But hey, Frito chili pie! Great place to sit around scowl at strangers in the dark on a Tuesday afternoon. A small-town slice of Americana– I imagine J. D. Salinger would have liked this place.

there’s holes in the wall and then there’s just dumps. This place was filthy and the employees didn’t take any pride in what they did. The food was subpar– they don’t even have tomatoes or lettuce for burgers. 3.2% beer is all they serve for alcohol. This isnt a place you would go to just relax and feel comfortable unless you’ve lived around Enid your entire life. The place desperately needs some attention– just a good cleaning even would add value. Why waste your money here when you can just make better food at home for cheaper? The only redeeming value is that it’s not smoky.

I’ve gone to the Flamingo about 20 times in my life, and every time I go, it’s never a bad time. When you walk in, you’re greeted by the sight of an old, beat-up ice machine and an old man drinking a beer at the bar. I respect every aspect of this bar. First, the décor is something out of a history book. Neon light displays, the smoky look(even though it’s non-smoking), the old booths, the pool tables, the shuffleboard table, the posters of old movies, clippings of old newspaper, Galaga and Pacman machines, the small, discolored menus, the peppy waitresses, and everything else. Next, the reviews about the food being too greasy, must not understand the concept of the bar. You know that you’re eating delicious little grease-patties, and following up with a handful of potato chips, but you don’t care because that’s the kind of food that goes with the atmosphere. The final point, is that this bar is the pure essence of small-town Oklahoma. No televisions, no WiFi, just human interaction and fun all around. This is the ideal place for you to bring six of your friends, be loud, and socialize. I will continue coming to the the Flamingo until either the business shuts down or I die.

When you walk into the Flamingo Lounge you are stepping through a time portal, back to a time when the neighborhood bar was where folks went to have a few cold ones and socialize. It is a delightful slice of Americana that harkens back to a simpler time when such things as route 66 were flowing with families on vacation. First and foremost the Flamingo is a beer bar plain and simple, nothing else. It also happens to be the best place that I’ve been for a good well seasoned greasy hamburger and fries. Pretty simple fare from a simpler time done very very well. So if your looking for a nice little place to grab a burger and have a cold beer or two, you’ll love this place. If your looking for a full menu, gleaming new surroundings and the club trends, you should probably rethink the Flamingo.

Solid dive bar. The food is simple: burgers, chili, chips, nachos. I would give the food 3 stars, but I really like the atmosphere, so that’s why Flamingo gets a bump to 4 stars. Every time I’ve been here, I’ve had a double cheeseburger with grilled onions. They pack them in foil, so the cheese gets wonderfully melty and gooey. The burgers aren’t thin, but not super thick either. A double is a sizeable burger. I find they aren’t super consistent in the amount of onions you get. But, they are good grilled onions, add excellent flavor and they are cooked until soft, but not too soft. Also, they offer the large bags of chips for only a buck. Good service and a solid burger. It’s not the best burger I’ve ever had by any stretch, but I’ve been back and will keep coming back.

There are very few food items you can order here, but then again everyone comes here for the burgers and chili. Maybe I’m the odd one out but the chili I got here wasn’t all that great and the burgers were overly greasy. It was pretty dead in there when we went yet our waitress came to are table twice. Once to take our order and the other to bring us our food. Overall disappointing food and service.

A few years later, just about everything is the same. The décor is still small town beer bar, the chili and burgers are still greaselicious, the menu is just as it has been for some time. On the downside, one woman on staff decided that she had some trouble with a co-worker who wasn’t present. I knew this by her loud complaints to bar patrons, loud enough to reach the other end of the dining room. While the vocabulary used was nothing new to me, more than a few words were of the type that really weren’t appropriate for using at work or in front of the children who were present. Perhaps it was one person with one bad day, but this went on for enough time that anyone in charge had ample opportunity to hear the rant and intervene. Then again, for all I know, she may have been the one in charge at the moment, although I certainly hope not. Small town beer bar with greasy food, just with the pitfalls of a small town beer bar as well.

Everyone here is raving about the chili and I respectfully disagree. It was greasy ground beef and little else, I barely touched it. The bathroom had over 10 flies. I counted and for some reason I wan’t mad. It just fit the décor of the rest of the joint. This all being said, it’s such a unique dive that I will frequently bring visitors here for the experience. The old men drinking pitchers of 3.2 beer at noon, the hand written notices on the walls from the Carter administration and the smokey haze all come together for an interesting experience, to say the least. Try it once for kicks, don’t order the chili!

This place is undeniably the best place for a chili burger in Enid, OK. Or anywhere nearby for that matter. The staff is awesome and friendly, and the service is quick!

Great hole in the wall bar & grill. They grill up some of the best chili burgers anywhere. This is the first place I’ve been to since moving to Oklahoma that truly impressed me. The quality and tastiness of the food, the attentiveness and speed of service, the fun and positive staff — it was all amazing.

There’s no place like Flamingo — friendliest service anywhere. My normal order — chili, onion burger, chips, draw beer. It doesn’t get any better anywhere!

I wasn’t a believer at first when my friends dragged me here, but the people were nice, the ambience was comfortable, and the burgers were, at the risk of sounding silly and dated, the bomb! This is a great place if you want a quiet hole in the wall to get a burger and beer after work.
