This place just recently switched owners and I am devastated about it! The beef and shrimp noodle dish was magical. They also had the best egg rolls and fried dumplings. The couple that ran this place was awesome they knew my father and I by first name and knew exactly what we were ordering every time we came in! I have tried the new place it has switched names I cant remember what but the sesame chicken was solid and I have heard good things about there other food from my dad. I will say the Dumplings are not the same and they really only fry one side of them! I will miss lemongrass hopefully this new place can produce as high of quality of food as before.

Really good wraps! Always have been. I’ve been coming here for 15 years probably

This place is a bit tricky to find, but well worth the search. It is your typical hole-in-the-wall shop(but clean) run by an older Asian couple(who somehow remembered the dish I ordered a week ago)! The menu is large enough and I have yet to receive a bad meal. I suggest the Vietnamese noodle bowl or one of their signature noodle wraps. Oh yea, the place is super affordable: the typical go-to lunch break meal.

I have been to Lemongrass several times as it is within walking distance of my office. I have tried a variety of dishes on the menu and have yet to be dissatisfied with any. My favorite is the«Rice Noodle Bowl». Not only are the ingedients better than you will find at most restaurants within this price range, but the taste is equally as good. The staff are always friendly. I woulndn’t necessarily recommend this restaurant if you are looking for something«quick» as there is only one chef and can get backed up since everything is prepared fresh(the reason I like this place so much). I highly recommend for those who are looking for a more authentic family owned experience.

Yum! This place has pretty good food for a great price! The lady behind the counter was very friendly and made great recommendations for my mom and I. Thankfully they just recently added Pad Thai(it says spicy but there was no hint of spice in the sauce). We paid $ 21 for two appetizers, Pad Thai, a coke, and Vietnamese coffee(which was delicious). Great deal, great food! I would definitely recommend!

I would rate this restaurant«0» stars if I could. My boyfriend and I ordered the spring rolls and beef vermicelli bowls — both were disgusting. The spring rolls were messily wrapped, had WAY too much noodles in them, not enough herbs, and one half of a shrimp(per roll). The beef vermicelli bowls, again, had WAY too much noodles, old looking lettuce, the beef was rubbery and had a stale aftertaste, and the sauce was bland. My boyfriend eats just about anything that is edible and he could barely keep down 2 mouthfuls of this. A complete waste of $ 20.

I found this place yesterday — stopped in for lunch. I like to find cheap, easy lunches during the work week. Order at the counter, sit, and grab your food when it’s ready. I had phở — very light clear broth, but had really nice undertones of the important spices. A bit light on the ‘side’ plate with cilantro and such, but for — less than $ 6 or $ 7 — who can complain! I’ll be back to try the other dishes.

Nothing spectacular here, but nothing terrible either. I would say it’s competent, serviceable food. The owners are Chinese, but lived in Vietnam for many years. That’s why the Viet dishes aren’t quite Viet and the Chinese ones are quite Chinese, but kinda stuck in this Asian food purgatory. (If you’re really craving more decent Viet food in the area, you should probably try Phở Saigon located east of the highway, also on Arapahoe.) Although I must say I’m completely floored by the work ethic of the older couple who own this restaurant. Business hours are 11am-9pm, 6 days a week. That’s 10 hours of service alone, not to mention the 3 – 4 hours of prep, cleaning, and closing. Add in another 1 – 2 hours of accounting per day and you’re looking at a jaw-dropping 96HOURWORKWEEK! Good lord and bless their hearts! People who don’t own restaurants, but always say how they’d love to have one have NO idea how hard it is to run one. It’s probably why I keep coming back – out of sheer awe and respect for these two machine-like people slaving away with no employees to help them. Let me repeat, 96 hour work week! What was that about the American Dream ???

Been awhile since I was last at this establishment. In the area so I thought I’d go tonight. Food took forever and was terrible! Bland sauce for noodle bowl and meat was not freshly grilled! Egg rolls were greasy! Over 30 minute wait in an empty dining room. Establishment is very worn down and could use a refurbishing and deep cleaning. Will not be going back! Very disappointed!

Our office gets lunch delivered from Lemongrass for some reason. Well it is free, so I can’t complain too much, however, today’s lunch of chicken with broccoli was so bad I actually signed up on Unilocal just to write this review and warn others. Some of the worst asian food I’ve ever had. Their chicken looks a bit like leftover bits and pieces after all the good parts were trimmed out(and not put in your dish). The broccoli was a bit old looking and limp. Hard to believe that even the white rice was dry… how can you screw up rice? Even the quickie joints like Tokyo Joes and Panda Express turn out MUCH better food than this place.

Whenever I am at work in the DTC and my co-workers and I are like«Where should we go to eat?» and everyone else is like«I don’t know» then someone suggest lemon grass we are always like«yeah.» This place is family owned. Wife takes orders/husband cooks. Its nothing fancy but the food is good and not to expensive. I have eaten here multiple times.

While I’ve certainly had better, I find it difficult to give this place two stars. It’s ok, mediocre, but decent and passable while two stars to me is not really«this good.» So, the place is tiny, has probably 10 tables or so, and it’s run by what appears to be an older Asian couple. They have a bunch of Thai(I just saw Curry dishes but didn’t explore them in detial) and Vietnamese dishes, including phở. I’ve always gotten the chicken rice noodle bowl to go. It’s been a solid, tasty lunch in a region of town lacking on Vietnamese,(if you don’t want phở) so I’ll continue to go back on occasion for something.

Sometimes the rating phrase hits it right on(and other times you have to shoehorn it in). I’m not sure exactly what«Meh» means, but it seems fitting. Had lunch here and tried a few things. Nothing really stood out. The Vietnamese Pork Rolls sounded promising as they always do, but didn’t come with enough lettuce, carrots, etc to actually wrap them up. We dunked them in the fish sauce directly — and they were pretty pedestrian. Japanese Pan Noodles and Kung Pao Chicken were both forgettable. Nothing terrible, but I’m afraid no reason to return. The Thai Tea was fine. The people were nice, but it would be hard to recommend this place to someone else.

I visited this place for lunch with a group of 5 other people. Seating is somewhat limited(room for ~25 people) and consists mostly of tables seating 2 – 4 people. Menu items are not traditional Vietnamese cuisine but are more generic(i.e. curry with choice of meat, rice noodle bowl with choice of meat, etc.), which may be a good option for those overwhelmed by the typical Vietnamese restaurant’s book-like menu. Items range from standard Vietnamese fare like egg rolls, spring rolls, and rice/noodle bowls, to dishes more typically found at a Japanese/Chinese restaurant such as sweet and sour beef, orange chicken, and fried wontons. Prices for pretty much everything hover around the $ 4-$ 6 mark. I had the barbeque pork rice noodle bowl, which was fairly decent, but the Nuoc cham provided wasn’t nearly as flavorful as I had hoped. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals, but we agreed overall that this is definitely not the best Vietnamese restaurant in town. Would make for a good, quick lunch spot, but I wouldn’t recommend it for larger groups or for any sort of special occasion.
