I stopped in on Thursday 6⁄16 because I’d driven by a number of times and was always curious. I just had to go back two days later because I really enjoyed it. I had the calamari and shrimp appetizer with a Caesar salad the first night and it was just the right size for a light dinner. When I went back I got the Colore salad for lunch. Both times I was very impressed with the freshness, the presentation and the service. I love the feel of the place(especially for a solitary diner). I know I’ll be going back and trying different dishes and taking my friends.(good wine list too)

We have been eating at Colore since they opened. Can’t say enough about the place. Delicious food! The lasagna is one of the best in town. Great service, management and ambiance. Our to go to restaurant when we have company from out of town or in town!

We just had yet another delightful time at Colore. They were swamped, yet Heather managed to make us feel special and cared for. Of course, the food was great. In my opinion, service like we received tonight was what made the experience remarkable. Thanks to the whole team!

I was hesitant to try this place, for some reason, but their pasta is so good! Ravioli and their lasagna are amazing and loved the artichoke dip. Great little spot of south south broadway.

I’ve driven by here a 100 times, saw them advertise at DU sports, but never tried-until now. Yum! I had a veal special that rivaled any Italian restaurant I’ve been to in Italy. My friend had the ravioli and he was quite pleased. A little pricey, but good food ain’t cheap…

Came here last night for my brothers graduation dinner with family. The food was all delicious. Bruschetta, calamari, and garlic bread for apps was awesome and I had the colore salad which was delicious. No complaints about the food, it was all great! Only reason I have 4 stars is because our server was not the best. He didn’t offer us any suggestions or ask if we wanted wine with dinner. He didn’t even introduce himself. He was nice, just not the best service.

Yum! They catered in for work, and I had the lasagna just to make it easy. I was expecting something standard, but it was SO good! They even have these little«bread nuggets»(probably not named that, sounds kinda weird) but they’re bite sized pieces of bread that are so soft and delish. I will totally be back, maybe next time I’ll push to have them catered in at work again!

Wonderful food, beverage selection, atmosphere, and service. We have dined here many times. The flavors are all great. First came to Colore when looking for a Swallow Hill pre-concert dinner; Swallow Hill is a few feet from Colore. Be sure to make time, and save room for, the excellent desserts. Peach Bread Pudding is excellent.

Good quality food. I haven’t tried anything here that wasn’t absolutely delicious – salmon, shrimp fettuccini, veggie lasagne, penne and Italian sausage, all appetizers-yum. It appeals to a saltier palette but still good. The portion sizes are a bit smaller than most Italian restaurants but better food usually is. The reason for three stars is that both times we tried delivery we had problems. One time the guy dropped the food on my porch, I felt bad for him and he came back, but no offer for discount, free desert or any type of compensation was extended(in either delivery instance).

I came to Colore randomly when I was studying for a certification and was getting bored out of my mind at my house and needed some different scenery and a good omlet. I am so glad I decided to check out this restaurant for the first time. I posted up at the bar to grab a quick meal and coffee around brunch time. The staff was extremely friendly and inviting. The owner(or manager?) asked what I was studying for and encouraged me. She let me know they would be participating in restaurant week soon and I should check it out. I told her if I passed my test I would be there. Welp, luckily I passed because I came here with the boyfriend for restaurant week and was so impressed! First of all I love how upscale the interior of this place is, very nice addition to Englewood, which needs more places like this. I wish I remembered the fancy names of the things we ordered, all I know is that it was outstanding! The service here is great and you can really tell the employees take pride in their work(probably with the help of great leadership). I recently met a girl who used to work at this restaurant coincidentally and she had nothing but great things to say, and we all know that it is a very good sign when employees give props to a place they no longer work at. We will absolutely be back soon!

I’ve been several times and LOVEIT. I haven’t had anything here that wasn’t fantastic. It is trendy, as opposed to gobs of carby comfort, which makes it wonderfully palate pleasing. My date and I shared an antipasto salad(balsamic is wonderful!) as well as the chicken saltimbocca– a chicken dish with gnocchi. It was a flavor explosion that made me slow down and savor every bite. Our server was super nice and the ambiance was warm, however not private(which I took advantage of to look at the plates of the people on either side of us). Other visits I have tried the sausage and peppers, chicken parm, deserts and more… never been disappointed. I highly recommend them. Trendy and foodie for sure. Yum!

What an adorable Italian restaurant! I came here with friends and despite a misplaced reservation(on our part) they sat us immediately. We came here in effort to take advantage of Denver Restaraunt week, so each of our plates(3 courses + a glass of wine) was $ 30. I ordered the salmon, which was the least favorite out of the group. The chicken was first choice. I would also recommend the incredible cheese cake to finish off your meal. We will be returning!

Great atmosphere, service, and food! Loved the jalapeño artichoke dip and the Chicken Saltimboca. I loved my Chicken so much I will be attempting to recreate it to blend it into my home meal planning routine! Bf ordered some yummy looking pizza, so we will definitely be back to try more! Only downside, limited parking on busy weekend nights.

My daughter & I went here, taking a chance on it, because it served pizza & we were new to the area & wanted pizza. WOW! Everything was absolutely delicious! The greens salad was fresh & the dressing was very tasty! The bread was so yummy! We ordered a margarita pizza & both loved it! We had the chocolate moose cup for dessert & it was(almost) better than sex! The service was superb! Thank you Brock! We will definitely be back!

What a fantastic find! It has a great ambience and feel while the staff was inviting and extremely friendly. We ordered the burrata appetizer which was awesome! Great marinara sauce with crunchy crostini paired great with the gooey burrata. For our entrees, we ordered chicken saltimbocca and cheese ravioli to split. Both were great! Highly recommend the chicken — we couldn’t eat it fast enough. The cheese ravioli was a little salty but we cleared those plates so clearly didn’t bother us too much. The service was great. Who we are assuming was the manager took our order and split our entrees for us when I mentioned we were going to share without us asking and without charging which was nice(not a fan of paying for the charge to split entrees so we usually just eat off one another’s). Definitely plan on going back!

For some reason, the first three restaurants we chose for our day-after-Christmas shopping torture, I mean, experience, were closed. I dig it. Thanks for giving your employees the day off. I found Colore based on my fellow Unilocalers. This is a charming neighborhood gem. The atmosphere was bright and energetic, without being overwhelming. Our server was awesome. He checked in on us regularly and was very friendly. On weekends there is also a brunch menu. I had to ask a few questions(given my no cheese proclivity). He knew what was in the food and said he could custom order just about anything. I try to stick to the menu, but this is appreciated. I had the spaghetti with sausage and peppers. The sausage was slightly spicy, very flavorful, and it was a delicious dish. My dining partners enjoyed their sandwiches and pasta, as well. They have an interesting cocktail menu, from which I ordered the Carpool. Overall, really nice restaurant with good food.

A Travelzoo coupon brought us in for Sunday brunch. They were located on the corner of S. Broadway/W Yale Ave in Englewood, CO. They had an outdoor patio and lots of tables inside good for large groups. We started out with a Big Kid’s Strawberry Lemonade which had a shot of Absolut Citron and a Bloody Delizioso which included a jalapeño, green olive, and lime garnish on a skewer. A basket of complimentary bread pieces with oil and vinegar were delivered to the table. They were room temperature. They would have been better if they were fresh out of the oven and brought to the table the same time as our drinks. My husband ordered the Mattina Carne Pizza. It had red sauce, pepperoni, sausage, jalapeño, topped with two eggs your style. He choose to have scrambled egg on the pizza. The jalapenos were super spicy and the middle of the crust was a little soggy, but there were plenty of toppings I ordered the Florentine Benedict. It came on grilled ciabatta bread which was nice and crunchy. The Herb Roasted Potatoes were some of the best I’ve had in a long time. They were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I didn’t even need ketchup. The owner came by to chat and drop off the bill which was a nice touch. The bill came out to $ 45 for 2 alcoholic drinks and 2 entrees which seemed really expensive for brunch. I paid $ 19 for the Travelzoo for 2 alcoholic drinks and 2 entrees. The internet prices need to be updated as the actual menu prices have increased. Good food, not a good value.

I visited here a few months ago and I can’t remember what I ordered… I think that’s because it wasn’t memorable. The atmosphere was nice but I don’t think I’ll be going back. I prefer more comfort food Italian and less trendy Italian. I wouldn’t recommend this place but I don’t have anything bad to say about it either.

The restaurant has a very upscale feeling to it, that’s why we were appalled that the bread — an Italian staple, right? — brought out in a bread basket, was awful. It was stale, doughy, and sticks to the teeth. The worst bread I’ve ever had in a restaurant that serves bread at the beginning of a meal. Thank God things got a little better when our appetizer arrived: Fritto Misto(Crisp calamari, shrimp, zucchini and eggplant served with marinara and chipotle aioli). It was big, beautiful, full of flavor and contrast-y texture. Both sauces were good. The two of us could’ve fed on this alone and be happy. We did each order an entrée, Orecchiette & Salmon and Eggplant Rollatina. The salmon in the vodka tomato cream sauce was to die for, and seriously the most tender fillet I’ve every had, including homemade! It truly was melt-in-the-mouth. If only they would marinate the fish instead of relying on the sauce to dress it, because the center of the cut did not have much flavor… and I really can’t decide if Orecchiette was the right kind of pasta for the dish as it wasn’t cooked to al dente enough. The Eggplant Rollatina does not have any pasta in it and I’m kind of grateful for that. The stacks were swimming in marinara which would’ve been fine if their version wasn’t so acidic. I personally would’ve used some more sugar. But I understand it is difficult to cook each dish to every person’s liking so I’d still like to give it to the chef at Colore for crafting dishes unique to the restaurant. Different wait staff would take turns to come and help us so service was smooth and speedy!
