One of our very favorite ice cream stops. Ice cream is homemade and milk shakes are thick and delicious. A must stop when you come off the beach.

Delicious and inexpensive, this was the highlight of my culinary experiences in Englewood. I loved the rum raisin, but I regret not trying the salted caramel; it was the clear winner at our table.

Best ice cream ever! Ever! Have visited every night of our vacation and absolutely love this place! The creamsicle is delightful. The salted caramel, divine. The dark cherry was full of huge cherry chunks. And the pralines and cream was beyond delicious.

Good ice-cream and people. The two ladies working today were very sweet. They had non-dairy options which is great for me!

Best ever!!! 40+ flavors. Homemade waffle cones. We came here every day during our vacation. Tried tons of the flavors and they were all delish! My personal favorite was the toasted coconut, the kaula cappuccino and the captains butterscotch. Yum! The owner is so super sweet and polite. She knew our kids by name on the second visit :-). Wish we lived close by to make it year round, I would gain 50 lbs, but who cares! I would highly recommend this darling ice cream shop. So glad we decided to give it a try!

Zero stars !!! This was my 2nd time here. Both times staff was uninformed and rude involving service animal and the ADA(Americans with Disabilities Act) Was told to provide proof of animals service or leave.(this is against the law). As a former restaurant owner I’m amazed an owner could be so woefully ignorant involving federal law. Wont be back and neither should anyone else. From the ADA website– How can i know an animal is really a service animal and not just a pet? A: Some, but not all, service animals wear special collars and harnesses. Some, but not all, are licensed or certified and have identification papers. If you are not certain that an animal is a service animal, you may ask the person who has the animal if it is a service animal required because of a disability. However, an individual who is going to a restaurant or theater is not likely to be carrying documentation of his or her medical condition or disability. Therefore, such documentation generally may not be required as a condition for providing service to an individual accompanied by a service animal. Although a number of states have programs to certify service animals, you may not insist on proof of state certification before permitting the service animal to accompany the person with a disability. 4. Q: What must I do when an individual with a service animal comes to my business? A: The service animal must be permitted to accompany the individual with a disability to all areas of the facility where customers are normally allowed to go. An individual with a service animal may not be segregated from other customers. 5. Q: I have always had a clearly posted«no pets» policy at my establishment. Do I still have to allow service animals in? A: Yes. A service animal is not a pet. The ADA requires you to modify your«no pets» policy to allow the use of a service animal by a person with a disability. This does not mean you must abandon your«no pets» policy altogether but simply that you must make an exception to your general rule for service animals. 6. Q: My county health department has told me that only a guide dog has to be admitted. If I follow those regulations, am I violating the ADA? A: Yes, if you refuse to admit any other type of service animal on the basis of local health department regulations or other state or local laws. The ADA provides greater protection for individuals with disabilities and so it takes priority over the local or state laws or regulations.

The salted caramel ice cream was recommended by the employee and was amazing. I think its a must. It’s a small little place and I don’t think its worth more than a 30 minute drive. But if you’re in the areas its a must.

Me and my mom and two kids stopped in for our first time while on vacation. The price was very reasonable and the ice cream was delicious. If you need to satisfy your sweet tooth I highly recommend stopping in.

This is a cute and clean basic ice cream shop. The ice cream is made offsite, although multiple signs claim«homemade.» However, the flavors we had were solid and tasty: salted caramel, cappuccino kahlua, chocolate, and rum raisin. My 5-year-old said«you should come here 100 times.»

Not bad ice cream. For the money they are very stingy on the scoop. I got a single scoop of Butter Pecan. Flavor was good but I only got about 10 bites! My son got a double scoop of Gator Tracks he said it was pretty good but he liked the Venice Avenue Creamery better. I have to agree, better ice cream, nicer place, bigger scoops, friendlier staff and lower price! The ice cream is a 3 The service is a 2 The value is a 1

The ice cream was good, but here’s why I’m giving two stars only. Each customer is allowed only 2 samples/tastes. For a shop with dozens of different HOMEMADE flavors, this makes absolutely no sense. I’m an adult; I’m not here to scam you and eat all your ice cream through samples. Give me a break. It’s just insulting.

My sister, who’s quite the ice cream connoisseur, had been talking about this place and its reported«best» ice cream all week. Combined with five stars on Unilocal,I figured it had to top the charts. Here’s why it wasn’t actually the best or a chart topper, and why I gave it two stars: — The smoothies are made out of ice and fruit syrup, despite fresh fruit ready to use with ice cream. — The clerk didn’t actually know what was in some of the fruit syrup mixtures. — She also had a very bad attitude. She didn’t smile once and was very short and cold to us. — Despite our large group and two people waiting after us, the second attendant didn’t bother to help serve the ice cream. — Each person gets only two tastes. How are people supposed to decide from their odd and exotic flavors when they can only have two samples. — No medium size; only small or large. — My sister ordered a small(two scoops) but then decided one scoop was enough when she saw how big they were. The clerk then proceeded to take half the scoop out of the waffle bowl, saying she accidentally scooped it too big. Meanwhile, every one of our scoops after that was gargantuan. — I was surprised there wasn’t a bigger selection of flavors for specializing in homemade ice cream. Here’s why I almost gave it three stars: — Though not the best ice cream I’ve ever had, the flavors I tried were delicious: peanut butter fudge, raspberry truffle and salted caramel. — They have ice cream sundaes, shakes and other desserts that sounded good. — It’s a cute little shop with easy access and parking.

So disappointed. After reading the other reviews we made this a must do while we were in town visiting. When we arrived the sweet smell of freshly cooked waffle cones brought us in. There were two employees and only one of them was assisting customers. We asked what was in one of the smoothies and she had to read the carton of juice and still didn’t know and answered, «I dunno like blueberries bananas and stuff.» My husband purchased the strawberry banana smoothie with the idea that either of these items might be found in the smoothie. However, it turned out to be ice and fruit juice purée in a pre-made carton. Neither fresh nor what he wanted. She then proceeded to tell us that each person was only allowed two samples. I like to think of myself as an ice cream shop Aficionado. Never in all the shops I have been have I been greeted with a limitation on samples. I’m not even a sampler but this caught me off guard. While I originally asked for two scoops as our server proceeded to scoop my first scoop in I decided that was plenty and told her one scoop would suffice. At this time she proceeded to cut the scoop in half and put the remainder back. Which now left me with less than one scoop. My sister asked, «well would you like two scoops now? Since it just got cut in half?» But I just took what I got as not to irritate this employee further. The ice cream was fine. Nothing special, extremely sweet. It does not taste fresh or homemade by any means. A small line formed behind us and the second employee chose to never turn around and assist them. Both workers seemed unhappy and irritated that they had customers. With all that being said I would absolutely go back to the love boat ice cream shop but this place is a no go. I’m amazed at the other positive reviews. Maybe I came on an off day?

Wow! Awesome ice cream and friendly girl behind the counter. My husband and I split a sundae. He had cappuccino kahlua — very coffee-ish. I had the almond joy — whole almonds and loads of coconut. Yummy!

Hidden gem of deserts! The ice cream is all made in shop and they have MULTIPLE flavors. They also bring back old soda shop nostalgia with with glassware that would allow you to have a really sundae or banana split. This place is worth the drive if you are coming from over 30 minutes away! Make a stop here for desert, you’ll love it!!!
