Had similar experiences as other reviewers. Rude staff, doctors were totally uncaring of my situation, would have preferred to have been treated with a little more caring. Told to just try some things to see if it would fix itself when I know for a fact that are treatments that can be done. Interesting that another person said they didn’t have an appointment — that happened to me TWICE. Both times I went in and they(Binghamton) said I didn’t have an appointment that it was for another day. I never make mistakes like that. I enter the date of new appt. immediately while standing there with my phone. I could understand once — but this was twice. Seems a little odd to me. Especially since it’s happened to someone else.

The customer service is terrible/unprofessional. Made an appointment with the Binghamton office(primary office) in which they offered a quicker appointment at the Endicott office. Showed up the day of said appointment and receptionist stated there was NO appointment. Instead of looking into the issue by contacting the Binghamton office, nothing was done. Waste of time and gas. No follow up call was ever made. The Binghamton office dropped the ball by never posting appointment which resulted in the inconvenience. If you have to deal with staff who have lack of skills needed as a receptionist/office manager then is it really worth it to see the eye professional who employs this staff? #indirectlyruiningcustomerpatronage

The eye doctor was great, the optician was okay too. My problem was with the office staff. I called and made an appointment and verified they accepted my insurance. According to my insurance company website they were an authorized provider. It took almost a month to get into see the doctor. When I arrived the lady at the front counter was pretty rude and acted as if I was disrupting her. AFTER I get done with everything and go to check out I am told they don’t accept my insurance because they are too difficult to work with. After many calls to both the office and my insurance company they finally accepted my insurance. What a pain! It would have been worth it if they were really good but I will be looking for a different place next year.
