Very nice service. A lot of pizza selections. The pizza is thin crust. If you love smoked mozzarella, they have a lot of choices with it. Solid Italian with emphasis on pizza!

Horrible… Ordered the Fire Roasted Artichoke as an appetizer… They clearly didn’t steam it before they roasted it… Resulted in inedible stiff trash. So I had it replaced wth a basic tomato, mozzarella, basil, olive oil salad… Needless to say, the tomato wasn’t ripe and the olive oil was subpar at best. For an entrée I had the Fettuccini Alfredo with blackened chicken. The backend chicken was good, but the pasta was pretty bad and I feel like they used the sun dried as filler… The sun dried tomatoes might have been about half the pasta. This place advertises as a «Tuscan Kitchen.» Nothing about this place resembles Tuscan food or any food from Italy whatsoever. If you’re an Italian food lover, avoid this place at all costs!

It’s amazing how poor customer service can tarnish any past experiences. Our office orders from Rosti as we are right down the street. In the past I have always ordered a salad with chicken and had been impressed with the quality of chicken. Today, a salad wouldn’t cut it. So I ordered the balsamic chicken with the 2 sides. $ 16.50 for lunch is steep, but hey, if its good — I don’t mind. Lunch was delivered. I tried to cut through the chicken and even with a sharp knife, it was so difficult. I gave some to a co-worker as well. She ate it first and spit it out. She said the consistency was way off, rubbery, inedible. So I took a bite and wanted to vomit. It was the strangest texture. I called right away and the girl who answered offered to prepare another one and deliver it again. Honestly, I wanted to change my order, but that wasn’t an option presented to me so I said OK. Second chicken comes, it is slightly better but still pretty gross. The quality of the meat(or perhaps the preparation) was sub-par. So bad. I call back again and once again the girl says«Well we haven’t had anyone complain about the chicken today» TODAY?! Ok. Very rudely she says she will refund that meal and hangs up. No goodbye. Nothing. I don’t need to be treated like that. You want to charge $ 16.50 and $ 3.95 for delivery and hang up on me when the food is bad? No thanks. I will never order from here again. There are far too many options in this area to be treated with disrespect. A simple«I’m sorry you didn’t like it» and a goodbye would have changed that. All the blame was placed on me. Not cool.

My husband and I stopped by on a Saturday night. We used to frequent the Santa Monica & Encino Rosti locations often and decided that it had been too long since we enjoyed a meal from here. There were a LOT of empty tables, which should have been a clue that something changed. My husband ordered the butternut squash soup and it was absolutely flavorless. The poor guy had to pile on tons the of canned parmesan cheese to help make it more palatable, but even after it was pretty terrible. He also ordered the half order of the arugula and fig salad. It was pretty mediocre and overpriced for what it was. I ordered the rigatoni with eggplant and smoked mozzarella and it was pretty disgusting. The noodles were severely overcooked, to the point where they were disintegrating while I will trying to put them on my fork. The eggplant was rubbery and the slices of cold smoked mozzarella had a hard time melting on top of the piping hot pasta. Because I am pregnant, I wanted to verify that the smoked mozzarella was pasteurized and the server had no idea what I was saying. I have no idea why the quality of the food has declined so drastically since the last time we visited several years ago. My husband and I spent approximately $ 50 and left very unsatisfied and disappointed. We will not be returning any time soon.

This is one of those laces you always pass, but never actually go to. Finally did try this casual Italian spot and it’s definitely a hit or miss spot. Had the brick chicken, which was a half chicken, two sides and a side salad. Lot of food, but quantity doesn’t usually equal quality. Chicken was dry and while the mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach were better, they weren’t very garlicky considering that garlic was part of each menu item name. Might have to reconsider this if I decide to make a future visit to try the pasta or pizza. That might be more if their strength.

I ate here twice while I was in town(11⁄13&11⁄14.) I had the pasta with spicy pink sauce and blackened chicken and sweet potato side the first time. The pasta dish was very flavorful! The sauce was really good and fresh tasting! I didn’t care for the sweet potato side. The second time I came we had the calamari and drunken shrimp linguine. The sauce for the calamari was just okay and the calamari itself was pretty good. My main entrée was really good too! This place has a very homey feel and would work well as a family night out or a casual date night. I so wish I had a place like this by me! Service was very attentive as well.

This place was a very pleasant surprise! My family and I enjoyed the bread. Great. Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. Great. Chicken parmesean. Great. Spinach & ricotta ravioli. Great. Service was fantastic and very attentive. Our waiter gave us options with just about all of our meals. The 4 of us got out of there under $ 75 which, for meals that were all amazing, is great! Will def recommend!

I love good Italian food– the kind that fulfills the cravings I have for the delicious chicken piccata or the savory chicken Parmesan. But this place just doesn’t do it for me. I’m not impressed by the pizzas or pastas the only thing I can appreciate about this place is their rosemary potatoes but other than that I’m not a fan of this place.

Manager Michael is a class act. He delivered lunch to the table and my companion realized she ordered something different than what she thought. He immediately offered to get her the right dish — no problem. He said, «Enjoy your sides and I will get you a grilled chicken as quickly as I can.» How refreshing to meet someone who takes the time to not only do an exceptional job but also genuinely cares about the customer. Our food was delicious. The atmosphere at lunch is perfect. The staff is attentive, helpful and courteous. Everyone in the place(customers and staff) seems like they’re having a good time. Lots of smiles and satisfied looks on faces. I’ve eaten at this Rosti several times. It’s convenient and easy. I can can say without hesitation I will be back and I plan to tell anyone who will listen how much I like the place, enjoy the food and respect the Manager Michael.

I have passed this place many times and thought it was just a coffee/sandwich shop. Imagine my surprise when a friend suggested we come here for dinner last night and I show up to a much larger/nicer restaurant than I imagined looking at it from the sidewalk. And there is a full menu and there is wine and… tons of gluten free options. No, really, TONS. My friend and I split a gluten free flatbread that was delicious. She then ordered the gluten free Penne with marinara and sausage. I chose the Beef Ragu over Penne. Both were delicious and piping hot. My friend ordered a cappuccino and said it, too, was excellent. Service was stellar and the ambiance is inviting. Also, in the summertime, they have a special of ½ off bottles of wine(on Wednesdays for sure). So, bring a friend and splitseys. Works for me and I plan to return to try one of their gluten free pizzas(so many to choose from!).

I love coming here! Everyone is always nice and outfitted with a smile on their face. It’s my go-to place and I can always count on delicious food. Their margarita pizza is always great and the tricolor salad is a must try. If you’re in the area, I recommend bringing a few of your friends for a casual and relaxing meal.

I had a really lovely meal here! So many different kinds of pastas that were marinated in so many different options of sauces, it was pleasantly impressive! I like Italian food and this place was excellent. The service was nice, tea selection is wide, and overall very nice staff. I will definitely return! I believe I ordered the Capellini with goat cheese and marinara, and it was absolutely delicious and bountiful in portion.

Rosti Tuscan Kitchen is a three-store Italian chain that has a separate vegan menu. The vegan menu is basically just a bunch of pasta and bread dishes without cheese(or, in the case of their pizzas, Daiya cheese is offered). While I appreciate the separate menu, I don’t think the food here was all that great. I got the rigatoni with peppers($ 11.50). The pasta was overcooked in some spots and undercooked in others(I’m not sure how this is possible) and the sauce fell flat. This was basically a hasitly-prepared, morose pasta dish that looked and tasted tired. How about livening up the dish with some fresh greens or red onions and tomatoes? The portion size was small, so don’t expect leftovers. Service was friendly but slow and inattentive. While I applaud Rosti for offering a vegan menu, I wish their food had more pop and liveliness.

Just had our lunch here for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered a half size arugula salad and one of the 12″ pizzas. They both were delicious and decent portions. Before we decided to try this joint, I was a little skeptical because of the bad reviews but I am extremely glad that we gave it a shot. Our server was attentive and friendly. Bathrooms are well maintained and the kitchen was clean. Nice decoration too. I even asked the server(sorry I forgot to ask his name) why the place is so empty. I guess its packed during dinner time. All in all, I believe joints like Rosti deserve the support of locals. Highly recommended.
