Aroma has been my favorite place for years. But in the past year or so the quality of their food has gotten lower and lower. I’ve been very disappointed the last few times I’ve been there. Today I got the house sandwich that’s normally loaded with fresh tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, hummus. Etc. and soo so good. However today my sandwich was nearly bare and they forgot the carrots which is one of my favorite parts. Not a favorite spot anymore.

I want to start off my saying that I used to come here knowing that my meal wouldn’t be a let down. Also I work in the restaurant business so I usually understand when things don’t go perfectly. Let’s start with the valet, who didn’t actually park my car… Didn’t give me the correct change and I thought nothing of it.(Maybe just call it a parking fee?) We sat down and waited for a while before we had our order taken, which I understand happens. There were two tables who sat down after us and managed to get their orders taken, which again I would normally understand because sometimes that just happens. When our order was finally taken the food arrived and it was ok, I’ve definitely had better here but I also ordered a new dish so It could have been that. My water was empty before we even ordered and I put my cup on the servers side of the table so if anyone walked by they could maybe refill it. No one did and finally by the time I had finished my girlfriends water I just decided to ask someone for more. Then we were both finished and waited almost an hour for our check. No seriously… Almost an hour. The busser had given us boxes, came back 15 minutes later to clear our table and still no sign of our server even coming into see how we liked out food or if we wanted more water or order dessert. I typically tip 22% MINIMUM, 25% for good service and 20% lowest for bad service which I’ve maybe done a few times in my life… because I am a server and understand what a physically and emotionally draining job it can be, but i was floored today. My biggest concern here isn’t all the horrible service that our server provided. It was his lack of interest and pure oblivion. I finally had to ask the manager for our check. I know it’s not the restaurants fault, because every server is different, ever cook is different, so obviously you aren’t going to get the same thing every time. But after today I’m not sure if I’ll ever recommend this place the way I used to or ever come in again. I really hope things get better here. :/

Outstanding restaurant! Huge menu with SOOO many interesting choices. My EXCELLENT meal: hummus — light and creamy, eggplant charred on a grill(smokey yummy), and Seabass skewers with vegetables — NOTTOBEMISSED. Don’t leave without having the LOTUS cheesecake with caramel… what a meal!!! Oh and I cannot forget the pita bread. Not something I’d normally write about — but especially delicious here(for bread lovers like me).

The place itself is not that impressive, but food is very good, I love it and latte & chocolate soufflé with vanilla ice cream and berries is outstanding!!! Thank You:)

I like the food here and the ambiance when dining in but similar to the poor service when you are there, my gf ordered on Eat24 and it took an HOUR and a half and counting. No discount, no apologizing(just stating that they are busy) and we are still hungry and waiting and it’s been an hour and a half and counting. Disgraceful delivery service– definitely NEVER ordering from them again via Delivery and only if it’s the only place open will I actually go there. They don’t seem to care about customer satisfaction at all. The workers are completely apathetic. Really disappointed in a place that has pretty good food but it’s not good enough to wait an hour and a half for delivery. Really not happy right now especially since the food(including a pizza) was extremely cold when we received it.

Good food, lemo-nana is my favorite but I won’t be coming here again, if I do it’ll just be to get the drink. they clearly need more employees because there is no reason that we should be waiting 20 minutes for the dam bill.

The place I go when I want to hang out with friends and family. They have great selections of wines and beers. The Chardonnay is my favorite. Asian fusion is the recommended dish ! Combination of noodle and ahi tuna, who can ask for more …

As usual, I like to try new bakeries and cafes in the Valley or LA area and this one was open late on a study night, so I have to try it. Well, to start off. The host that greeted us was cool and laid back. The food here is bombskies. It’s like a Mediterranean bakery café. I ordered a small dish which was the small kebabs for like 6 bucks. My friend ordered the three cheese ravioli and it was soooo good, but hers was the same size and double the price. Prices are pretty high for sandwiches and food. Appetizers run from 8 – 11 dollars. Overall, I like that they are open late and the employees are cool. Our server was a woman, and if you’re not ready to order they leave so be prepared for that. I give them four stars for it being a great experience, but the food is really expensive.

I came here per recommendation of a friend and I’m sad to say it didn’t live up to its expectations! I came in for breakfast with a friend he ordered 2 eggs, with the side salad and paid $ 15 because they charge for any substitution you make. I ordered their egg and cheese croissant with potatoes and fruit salad! I was very pleased with the food and coffee, however by the looks of their menu, it seems lunch or dinner are much better options! Also it kind of threw me off that they serve sushi? I just didn’t understand the vibe the restaurant was giving. Anyway might come back to order from their lunch or dinner menu but I’m not jumping up and down for the opportunity!

What kind of restaurant gives you a pie for an order with a squashed fly right on top? They just gave it to me in an labite order, so there is no way I can get my money back until I drive there. How disgusting!

Nice café to sit, share appetizers and people watch on Ventura Blvd. I came on a Saturday afternoon(4ish) and the place was not overly packed. The server was very nice and attentive. We sat for a while before ordering and she didn’t seem annoyed. She was quick with refills(even just for water). I wasn’t ordering so I don’t know the exact name of the dishes we got but let me tell you that the ahi tuna hummus was to die for!!! Amazing! I finished the whole thing by myself. On the flip side-The chicken sandwich was not good at all. It was flavorless and very bready. Great appetizer and dessert with coffee spot in my opinion.

Best thing this place has got going is the service. The food however it lackluster. I have been to the other Aroma too and its just all around the same. I am not a big fan. I would eat here if there was no other option and if I had to choose a place close. Otherwise, the food is not all of that. I parked on the street, so I couldn’t speak for the parking.

I went to lunch on a business meeting and first of all, the service was outstanding. As soon as I showed up I got seated and was ready to order my lunch. I ordered the shawarma plate and it was incredible, I enjoyed my lunch so much that I even decided to order a dessert. The waitress suggested the new dessert the lotus cake and it was phenomenal. Highly suggested and will definitely be back! Thank you aroma

Food gets 5 starts. Service gets 2 stars. Was here on a company meeting with my colleges. A party of 4 people. First of all, we walked in and were not greeted or asked if we would like a table. We walked in «assuming» we needed to wait for a host to sit us. Anyway, we find our ways over to a table outside(terrible idea. Too many flies -.-) and wait on 2 more people. We were seated for about 7 solid minutes before a waitress came over and asked if we needed a drink. Mind you, it was 80+ degrees out. The rest of our party arrived and we finally get the menus brought to us. We order, get our food in about 20 minutes and chow it down like it was our last meal on earth. I can’t lie, the food was very tasty. I had the beef kabob plate. I loved it. The rice was perfect, kabob was delicious, and my veggies were perfectly seasoned. I definitely will stay true to this plate every time I come. Again, the service lacked. We were done eating, the waitress was terrible at being attentive. We seriously waved her down and she STILL didn’t pay attention to us. That annoyed me, honestly. We aren’t rude, so we didn’t call her out on it. But it definitely made me think that I’ll only come here when I have nowhere to be. Why? Because you never know when they’ll get you out of here.

This was a fun place to meet someone for a work meeting. We didn’t try any food but ordered this amazing mint slushy thing. It was very satisfying on a hot day!!! Great ambiance!!!

The food is extremely expensive, doesn’t taste very good, and the service was very absent. Came here with a friend to get coffee and some sweets. The service was terrible. We sat down and nobody came to help us for a very long time. I had to flag someone down to order. We got two different kind of dessert from the glass display, one is the six layered mousse, and another one was a cheesecake. Both were big in size but really expensive, they looked really pretty but did not taste very good at all. We also got a drink each, and our total bill came out to be well over $ 30 before tax and tips. Totally not worth it.

A swell coffee spot in the heart of Encino, with a family owned vibe. I stopped in during lunch hour, and was greeted immediately by the server/host, I believe since it wasn’t fairly busy. There’s quite a lot of space, both outdoor and indoor seating. Inside you’ll see the stone oven were they make pizzas and a glass display for the baked goods. Im happy already! I enjoy being able to see the cooks at work. I ordered a latte, and a sweet potato salad which was deeeelicious! Whatever the sauce was it was made with something great! The latte was smooth and not too milky, which is great because I like to enjoy tasting the coffee itself not just milk. I also ordered a small poppy seed pastries, which they were kind enough to heat up! From looking at the menu overall, there is a middle eastern or Mediterranean theme which is great! To conclude, I enjoyed the friendly, quick service and tasty food! Ill be making my journey back again!
