Wiro Park

Although this isn’t my absolute favorite park in Encinitas, I do love the beauty and seclusion that this spot provides. It’s nice that the city paid homage to one of the founding German settler families in this area by naming a park after them.
Looking for a unique outdoor venue that’s off the beaten path? This is a great place for parties with small groups, and it could even accommodate larger groups. Four of the picnic tables are isolated and private from each other, but there are also three tables situated together next to the grassy field. You could certainly host a decent sized event here.
There are no signs posted, but I’ve seen people there with their dogs and it doesn’t seem to be a problem.
