Waste of money. True North provides unactionable survey analysis. The reports I read are long, have lots of numbers and words, but are mostly just fluff. The survey results do not take demographics into account with any of the conclusions, which is a MAJOR flaw. The survey I am referring to is a follow up survey to one performed several years prior, yet there was very very little comparisons between the changes in some of the figures and there were many inconsistencies in the way data was collected. What a wasted opportunity to learn some real insights. I called True North Research and spoke with the owner of the company and kindly requested to see some of the raw data of the report. (FYI — the report data is owned by the City). Before I got through my second sentence, he cut me off multiple times, refused my request and ended the call. Keep in mind that did not know my opinion of his report prior shuffling me off the phone.
