My daughter want to Nuva about 2 or 3 years ago, seeking treatmrnt for her newly diagnosed Crohn’s disease. She had been advised drug treatment that had potentially toxic side effects, so wanted to try something less harmful like Ayurveda. Nuva blatently claimed he vould cure her condition, and prescribed a whole batch of pills off his shelf, at a cost of about $ 135.00. She faithfully took his prescription for 3 months, and gradually worsened until we had to rush her to Cedars Hospital, where she was kept for 7 days before they could restore her health. She remains on western medicine, and has been stable ever since. I wrote to Nuva telling him of her negative outcome on his so-called«cure», and of course he never replied. Make your own judgement.

you enter into a bright white space, with all white ultra-suede chairs, it smells of star lilies which are all over the room, white, of course, and a dull hum is the only sound you hear. then a door opens and Nuva, the ayurvedacharya, comes out to great you, in a whisper. you tell him your ailments in your booming, shouting voice and he looks at you and listens. he then tells you, in a very low voice, a little about the history of ayurveda, the medicinal properties of the herbs he utilizes and then goes over to a wall of pill bottles, pulling some down, looking into them, them putting them back up, pulling more down until he has assembled a little table of bottles for you. he then writes your prescription and sends you on your way. It’s only been a day on the pills and already I feel amazing, could be psychosomatic or the yoga I did last night but whatever, I feel good. Nuva’s been known to cure stomach bleeding and other ailments — if you’re at all curious about non-western medicine and have stress or other medical issues that you’d like help with, Nuva is the ayurvedacharya for you.
