Kohler Pool Service and Supply

I had a problem with my Spa and Kohler came out to fix it and it turned out to be a complex and rare issue, but they kept at it until the problem was fixed with several visits to keep troubleshooting the issue even after hours. Great dedication and customer service. I would continue to use and recommend Kohler Pool and Spa service.

Kohler pool staff is very friendly and reasonable. We had some work done on the spa. Eight months after the repairs one of the parts stopped working right after it was out of warranty.
They understood the situation and the their owner came out to our house on a weekend. He knows spa inside out and had our spa up and running in a few hours. They did not charge us for the part which was greatly appreciated. Their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable

We were very impressed with Marc’s knowledge and persistence in identifying the problems with our 11 year old in-​ground spa. He had to go looking for parts that are no longer listed (everything was pre digital). We will never call anyone but Kohler in the future.

We called just before 5pm today, and Aaron walked us through some steps to troubleshoot our heater over the phone. When it didn’t change the problem, he offered to come by and check it since he happened to be in the area. Within half an hour, he arrived and soon found the likely problem. He arranged for someone to come the next day to do the repair, and was very nice and informative.

My pool pump died and I needed a replacement. Kohler sent a tech out on a Sunday to diagnose and give me an estimate. I asked for a couple options from lowest possible cost replacement, to upgrades with variable speed pump and automation of my pool and spa. Marc (who came to look at my system) gave a clear estimate and educated me as to the various systems available and what they would do. I elected the automation, and Marc installed the system within a few days. The system works great, and is a huge improvement. Furthermore, their estimate was exactly what I paid, and was several hundred dollars lower than a competing estimate.

Please do not send your mother or pregnat wife to get supply since they don’t help loading the car with heavy chemicals… you are on your own when it comes to that.

Aaron is always very friendly and highly knowledgeable. I agree that other pool shops should take notice on how Kohler does business. They knew exactly what filter grids we needed, which manifold and quoted prices immediately. So refreshing to work with someone that knows their job well.

I got a postcard in the mail from Kohler to install a variable speed pool pump. I was planning on switching out my pump before summer so I would use less electricity. Poway and SDG&E are also giving rebates, so I figured I better jump on the deal. I could have saved $ 100 by ordering from an internet discount company and install it myself. But the hassle of redoing my wiring, cuting all the piping, and probably making a bunch of trips to home depot, I figure this one I’ll leave with the pros. Mark did an amazing job getting the pool pump installed and re-​did all my piping and I’m very satisfied with the work! I also decided since he’s there I might as well replace my spa cover since my current one is falling apart. The new cover is a perfect fit and is so much easier opening and closing with the new lifters. I’m very happy and enjoying my pool, spa, rebates, and lower electric bill!

I agree with the other reviews. This place is great. The staff is helpful and solution oriented. When I started I didn’t know much about pools and they got me up to speed quickly. We just invested in a variable speed pump to reduce our energy use and it keeps the pool so much cleaner too. We will have to rent the house next year and the only thing I don’t have to worry about is the pool. I know they will keep it in good shape while we are away. In short, you can count on Kohler Pool Service and Supply.

Aaron and Mike are the the best! A near-​by competitor’s «repair trouble-​shooter» told me that my salt chlorinator had to be replaced at a cost of $ 1,100.00!
I wanted a second opinion, so I called Kohler for a service visit. Aaron, Kohler’s repairman performed two simple tests, and the problem was solved!
Mike performed a chemical analysis on my pool water and he recommended a few simple adjustments. No upselling, and no BS.
My pool looks great!
Kohler Pool is the only place to call!

Bad business practices. Make sure you get a written qoute. They called me and gave me a verbal quote that was misleading and depending on how you look at it was between 25 and 100% more. I emailed the owner my issues and he would «. I will personally make sure that corrective action will be taken immediately and the same problem won’t occur again.» but not sure how that satisfies me!
The work the do has been good. I have used them for my pool repair needs — They recently changed ownership and I am not happy with their business practices.

These guys are great! They come when they say they will, do a great job and follow up to make sure you’re happy. Very highly recommended — I won’t use anyone else.
