Cutting Edge Tree Service

Earl Keene has been out to our home on 3 different occasions for various tree trimming & tree removal services. He’s always done a great job and provided friendly professional service at competitive prices. His equipment is state of the art which allows him to do more difficult jobs in a clean, timely manner. We’re obviously happy with Cutting Edge since we’re 2 time repeat customers! :)

Earl did a great job lacingand trimming our olive trees and other trees on our proerty. The trees look so much better. His prices are fair, he has workmen’s comp insurance and his work is exceptional. He has been at our home twice and we will be hiring him again.

Earl Keene saved my cat. I can’t speak for his tree services, but if it’s anything like the effort I saw him use to pull a cat out of a tree, then this is your man for making your trees the best and healthiest they can be. I set out looking for someone who had the skill and knowhow to scale a 100′ eucalyptus and pull down a 10 month old tabby that had been chased up there by a dog the day before. I called the fire dept. (no, they don’t get cats out of trees but they will show up and spray them with the fire hose to force them down… really?!? Yes.). Also called animal control, several animal rescue shelters and either they didn’t know what to do or said find a tree service. On a Saturday… at noon, yeah. My cat was up 65′ in a tree for the last 20 hours… call a tree service? Actually, yes! I called several, talked to a lot of answering services and the first person I spoke with that could do anything, anything at all was Earl. He showed up an hour later, pulled out his climbing gear and spiked boots, climbed 65′ and pulled my cat out of the tree safe and sound. He said cats always find a way out of the tree when he gets close to them but this tree was escape proof for an inexperienced tabby. Thank you Earl. I know it’s not your regular gig, but you have skills and heart and my cat is alive and well because you care.

I had Earl come out to bid a job. His bid came in 60% higher than the other bid I had received. I went with his competitor who did a great job at a much lower cost.

Very professional, reasonable, no-​nonsense quote, showed up on time and finished the job on time. Earl and his crew cleaned everything up and even did a little extra trimming at the end on our request. Highly recommend him and will use him again in the future.
