Music too loud to even get in the door on a Sunday at 2:00 PM. Didn’t even try to eat.

Great pub grub at reasonable prices. Fries were really good. Friendly service. No beer on tap. just cans and bottles. Also, not quite sure where it’s «legal» to park… there are No Parking signs litetally surrounding the establishment.

Hampstead, NC
If you’re at NETC/​NFA you have to try this place. Everything is fresh and delicious. I hope the Maryland Crab Soup is on special when you get there, it’s amazing. Fresh ground burgers and great fries. Cheap cold beer, no beer snobs allowed. We came across an amazing live entertainer on open mic night. He works at Red’s so try to make it when he’s playing.
Very reasonable prices, try this place for something different.

Friendly, down-​to-​earth local hangout. Just a pool table, a bar, and six tables. Gravy fries are terrific, so’s the black & blue burger. Was great for dinner with two tired kids after skiing.

Perfect after a day of skiing at Liberty Mtn Resort. I just have to add my voice to the positive reviews. Friendliest place ever. Food was about as home cooked as you get. It’s like attending your friend’s basement dinner party. Showing up in my sweats may have been over dressing. Will definitely return.

Stopped in with the family while traveling over the Thanksgiving holiday. We saw the other reviews and by the end we couldn’t have been happier. The kids loved their food and so did we. We ordered a sub with hots to share and quickly ordered another one only a few bites in. The kids had chicken tenders and a burger.
Very relaxed inside and even though we were from out of town, everyone welcomed us. My 3 year old son even traded hats with Danny’s collection. We will definitely be stopping back next time we go through! Too bad they don’t deliver all the way to Pittsburgh!

Definitely a local place perhaps not so well-​suited for the big-​city types passing through to ski. this is a combo bar/​restaurant/​pool hall. Much of the food is made on the premises, and that adds to the positive vibe. My daughter described the sweet potato fries with cinnamon and honey dipping sauce as «phenomenal» if you want to eschew the chain restaurants and support the local businesses this is a good place.

This is a family dive, if there ever has been such a thing. A simple, no-​frills restaurant and bar located in a prefab corrugated steel building. The record about skipped when me and my city-​slicking lady walked in. It is a place of regulars and our status as visitors won us two free rounds and a welcome from Red himself.
The food is good, ol’ fashioned, rib-​sticking goodness. The beer choices range from from domestic (Milwaukee’s Beast, Nattie Light) to domestic premium (Bud Heavy, MGD), all in cans.
Check this place out for the jukebox, pool, a game or a good slice of homegrown ‘Merica.
