Little store with so much to offer. I kind of like that it’ little! Weird parking lot, but it’s free. Another Trader Joe’s that delivers the goods! So we used Trader Joe’s like a tool. Buying teas, latte’, and any other drink that needed a little hot water to quench your thirst. Our wedding reception was a buffet style, where our guests were allowed to help themselves to what ever they wanted, as much as they wanted. Having the«hot drink» selection was a real hit. We also gave cases of wine away, from our personal favorite selection, to our over 21 guests. This was a real hit too and Trader Joe’s made it very affordable. Prices are very fair, selection is awesome if not exotic sometimes.

Trader Joe’s has a very unique selection of grocery items that provide what I need for weekly groceries as well as fun snacks to try and delicious pre-made or frozen items to make and eat on the days when I just don’t feel like cooking or going out to eat. Best part is that the workers are all super friendly and very helpful. They always seem very happy and greet their customers with a smile. They’re pros at good customer service!

So this is my local TJ’s and in my shopping rotation amongst Berkeley Bowl, Whole Foods, and Safeway. There are certain things I come here for… olive oil, frozen tikka masala meals, buffalo chicken wraps, seasoning, etc. I’ve never had an issue at this location except finding tikka masala is like finding gold when they have it in stock. Everything else is pretty much the same as other locations. I’ve never had to wait long in line. The staff members are efficient. There are always convenient spaces in the parking lot. Prices are wallet friendly.

A super fun experience, I came in on this busy Saturday late afternoon to grab a few things lines were fairly long but moved very quickly as my cashier«Dave» was super efficient, friendly and funny as well nothing over-the-top just good old fashion quality customer service, my daughter loved your tattoos… also had a great experience with the young man named Francisco who helped me with some ice cream choices, great staff! Great store!

It’s always a pain to drive here in the middle of a busy weekend day, what with the endless traffic, maddening road layout, and infuriating traffic signal timing in this corner of Emeryville. Even if you manage to get into the parking lot, it’s often jammed full, and not many drivers seem to know where they’re going, let alone pay attention to pedestrians or other cars. Inside, this outlet is almost always super busy, but the staff here manage to keep on cheerful game faces, restocking shelves almost constantly and keeping the register lines down to a reasonable wait. You can also find most of the Trader Joe’s items here that you’ve come to love and expect. Overall, credit the staff for managing the madness well.

Oh Trader Joes, how do I love your Ooooo’s, as in Joe’s(Spaghetti)O’s. That was my most recent find. I can’t believe I’ve been missing them all of these years. I have a list of specific things I only buy here. The dairy is much cheaper than other stores as is the wine. There are so many great products, and I love talking to others shoppers about their favorites. I don’t buy fruit here very often, as it seems to go bad pretty quickly, though they do have a great return policy. My only complaint would be that they try to make their own products that don’t work as well as the original, i.e. tofu cream cheese spread vs Tofutti and their coconut milk chocolate ice cream that replaced the Double Rainbow chocolate sorbet(the .) Bring Back The Double Rainbow Chocolate Sorbet!

I usually come here because it’s the closest store to my home. Employees are always smiling and helping, and everything’s been great so far!

The parking lot is aggressive. Lots of people, not a lot of clarity of direction. Tricky to figure out where to go to not get hit. But once you’re inside, it’s a good TJs. Good customer service, average selection, but you can definitely get your needs met here. Just… ugh… that parking lot…

I don’t normally shop at TJ’s for all of my groceries. Mostly I get baking and other staple products. That being said my husband hates doing multiple trips. We bought everything on our list(from produce, to dried fruit, eggs, milk) at this location for under $ 75. For 4 bags of groceries. I like to buy organic as well, I’ll be coming here more often.

Personally not a Trader Joe’s shopper myself, but I came here one time to accompany my housemates do their grocery shopping. I appreciate the friendliness of the workers here as well as the ample samples at different corners of the store. I was surprised at their collection of alcoholic beverages as they carried pisco, which is somewhat rare and usually not carried by Safeway, Raley’s, or Albertsons. On the other hand, I find their«theme» of Hawaiian trading post kind of tacky.

My go-to grocery store. I like that it’s not too big, and it’s not too small. The staff if always alert and helpful, and the price is right. I can get a TON of food for the week for around/under $ 40. The wine selection is great too! I have bought produce from here(and other Trader Joe’s in the past, for that matter) where the produce went bad before the expiration date. Luckily they have a good policy that replenishes these items, but WHY Trader Joe’s? Why does this keep happening? Example: kale in a bag. Always seems to go bad 3 days before the expiration date? The parking is not the best, but deal with it. Trader Joe’s is WAY better than going to Safeway.

I have to change my review. The last two times I’ve been here, the food I bought spoiled quickly. The first time, we bought some fresh berries that turned out stomachs. The second time, we bought rosemary rice with chicken and the chicken smelled so foul, we threw it out. I much prefer the Rockridge store.

I feel I should clarify my review, as it seems to be taking my bias against the grocery store and letting it cloud my opinion. One must remain impartial when it comes to writing these things. In regards to the store itself(not the quality of its products), I give it high marks: not too many people and enough registers open to move things through, ample stock of goods, and parking is usually pretty accessible. The prices are also relatively cheap. Whatever I may think of the brand itself, I can’t deny that the store is in a good location and hasn’t really done anything wrong to me to support my previous 3 star rating. So, I’m moving it back up.

My grocery list: veggies, milk, eggs, plain yogurt, bananas, arugula pizza(a winner for less than $ 5), soaps, French lemonade, marinated tri-tip, pork shu-mai, mini tacos, curry chicken salad, southwest salad, frozen salmon, savory chips, flowers, edimami, nuts, salami, sliced and shredded cheese, artichokes, artichoke dip, sqashatash, sparkling waters, Kind bars, pineapple juice, baguettes, $ 10 blended TJ labeled scotch, and the assortment of $ 0.99 bags. You can always find someone to help you. However, lost a star. Some workers are pricks.

This trader joe’s is super popular. Parking here is extremely terrible but this Trader joe’s OPENS1 hr later than the others so that is why I am a fan. Coming here at night means more parking space since the other surrounding stores are mostly closed. The customer service here is really great. I like how they organized their produce. There isn’t usually a long wait compared to the one at Lakeshore. I love the eggplant wraps here. It is vegan and it is delicious. The snacks here are too good and addicting. I have to try them all! My mom always buys all the spicy mangoes here. Seriously, today she bought 10 bags of spicy mangoes $ 1.99 each bag.

I come to this location even though, technically, the one by Lake Merritt is closer because its got more S-P-A-C-E!!! Parking is pretty easy too! Its clean, well stocked and organized. You cannot beat their prices either! i’m always flabbergasted that i can buy a few bags of groceries here and spend under $ 50! Amazing!
