We ordered a large pizza from here on Saturday night, I called the order in at 5:50, she said it would be 15 minutes. I arrived for pickup before 6:05 and they told me it was ready –it was STONECOLD !! It was supposed to have fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, roasted red peppers and fresh basil. — There may have been 5 thin slices on the entire pizza, NO red peppers, NO basil and the prosciutto was almost non existent. Let me preface by saying we are the least picky people ever but this was by far the worst pizza ever AND it was $ 17– kind of explains why there was not one other customers there. We will not be back!!!

Against my better judgment, I gave Petrangeli’s a second chance. Ordered a grilled chicken salad. Got a salad with no grilled chicken. So glad I paid $ 10 for a bunch of vegetables. Never, ever again.

Really disappointing… the office had ordered lunch and when we picked it up we bought it back only to find two orders of french fries and a sandwich missing. In defense of the restaurant and having worked at a local pizza joint in my past– we ordered our meals the day after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, which usually tends to be a pretty busy day for restaurants, so a mistake or two is bound to happen. However, the sandwich we were missing was listed as their special of the day on their website. When I had called about the missing fries and sandwich I was told by the same girl who took our order that the sandwich actually was’t even available. WTF? I told her it is listed on your website as the special of the day and she said that they don’t serve it. How is this possible when the day’s before’s special(Thanksgiving) said«CLOSEDFORTHANKSGIVING»… this was obviously an up-to-date menu and they didn’t even follow it. The girl was very nice on the phone, but when I asked her where our french fries and sandwich was she said ‘well you can come and pick them up”. Excuse me? I asked her if she could please deliver the missing fries and refund us the money for the sandwich as we were on work time. They happily complied to our request and the money and fries were delivered. However, a co-worked finished his fries only to find A HAIR at the bottom of the fry basket! Listen– mistakes happen, but this it’s not that hard to show good face and make it right, but apparently this is not Petrangelli’s strong suit. This is a small town and this business has a great opportunity to make a good impression and bring in the bank but they are really going about this the wrong way.

I really wanted this to be a great place to eat but it’s not. Last night I had to ask for olives for my Greek salad. My son asked for sauce for his Stromboli twice and it was served cold. He asked for sauce in his Stromboli as well but it was left off. It took three trips to our table before we got catsup. My granddaughter got a choice of ice cream or cookie for dessert. She asked for ice cream but they were out! Really? You are across the street from walmart. Go buy ice cream for your restaurant! I had high hopes it would improve but they still haven’t figured out how to run a kitchen. Makes me sad… it’s so close to my home.

Excellent food in Morgantown. Nice place for a good home cooked meal, friendly service, and reasonable prices. Family atmosphere, good Italian food, and takeout. We go about once or twice a month.

I have tried to like this place but its just not working out. I have gone five times and each time I come out more disappointed. Service is terrible!!! The staff is not trained well and seem to flounder when under pressure. The wait time for pick up is avg of 20 minutes(when ordering salads or sandwhiches this is too long) I have seen quality of food go down in only the couple of months they have been open.
