This place makes great subs(hot). I did not try their pizza yet, but I will… Every time I order here I seem to have zero problems. Order goes through smoothly, and I get my food hot and fast. I also notice the prices here are better than other pizza joints, another reason why I keep their menu on hand. Good food at a fair price. Folks, this is Jersey. Pizza places here are either hit or miss. AND even when they are a hit, they can miss. It happens. So far, this place has not let me down yet.

I just stopped in for a slice and When the new guy told me $ 1.50 for a big nice looking slice I had to get another one. I haven’t seen $ 1.50 slice this good in over a decade. . Excellent crust too. Leone went back to Italy and this Mexican dude makin pizzas means business.

The regular slice is delicious. Cheese was mild and piled high. The cheese was amazing actually. I couldn’t believe the amount used on a plain slice. The crust was also good. I normally don’t eat the crust unless it’s spectacular and I ate the entire crust on my slice. The store is small, only a handful of booths so large groups aren’t going to fit comfortably. They provide a lot of drink options, especially in the Snapple department. There aren’t many pizzerias that offer Snapple Orangeade, so when I find it, that usually means that the pizza is going to be good. It’s a theory I’ve developed since I began my quest to eat at every pizzeria in Bergen County. The great pizzerias have great beverage diversity/options. But parking will be a hassle. They share space with a salon next door and there aren’t many spaces to begin with. Elmwood Park’s second best slice…

This was a great pizzeria growing up in the 80’s. I just had a meatball parm with half frozen meatballs. I’m giving two stars only because the people were very nice. It was hard to be mad at them

I really enjoyed this place first couple of times I ate here, I actually was quite the regular at one point since it’s very close to my job. The sandwiches were great(same price as other spots and came with homemade potato chips), the salads were fresh, and the pizza was as good as the other local pizza spots. However, the service soon became inconsistent. At times the sandwiches would come without the homemade chips, I was told they«ran out» but would get the impression that the workers just refused to make them out of laziness. The pizza is still decent but my last salad there was the last straw. It looked like it was literally thrown together. By that I mean assembled blindly as opposed to tossed and mixed well. The greens were brown and the portions of the ingredients were not as balanced as before. It was doused in blue cheese with scraps of chicken and veggies, it sickened me to taste. What a shame.

I was told that there are new owners at this local pizza spot so i don’t know what was bad about the previous pizza. But I really enjoy this spot for my fresh pizza. There is also a sweet family deal that is about 20 bucks that you can’t go wrong with. The pizza is fresh the chicken fingers are also good tasting and mozzarella is quality!!! I recommend here for a simple dinner take out with the family. I give it four stars cause I have yet to eat inside, I’ve only done take out and its fast delivery. I’ll change to 5 when I get that opportunity to see the experience they give there to the customer!
