I come here when I need a couple of things and don’t feel like fighting crowds. This place is always empty, decently stocked and affordable. I would not, however, complete an entire shopping trip here– they do not have a big enough selection and quite honestly, it’s not my favorite. This store isn’t very fancy, not particularly clean, looks run down inside and out, but the staff is nice and it does the trick for the«I’m out of milk!» days.

I absolutely swear by this place! They always have a great, fresh produce selection with plenty of staff that are actually willing to help you! It’s definitely a no frills grocery store, which is fine by me! It’s the perfect size with the essentials all at reasonable prices! There has never been a trip where they didn’t have what I needed! Checkout is always smooth, fast and FRIENDLY! I worked at dominicks for 13 years so I expect employees to go above and beyond to make my trip pleasant, and their workers here do it every time! Thanks Super Low

I’ve shopped here for may years but I simply cannot continue. The store is completely run down and doesn’t feel clean. The latest addition are wooden posts that have been erected in the dairy aisle to hold up a support beam. They’re wrapped in yellow warning tape so you don’t run into them with your cart. Good luck, since you’re already trying to avoid being run over by any number of grumpy«senior» shoppers. I’d rather not have the ceiling fall on me while I buy my coffee cream. Add to this the fact that the majority of the employees are R-U-D-E! And on my last trip there, they overcharged me on 3 items! Hurry up and open that new store in River Grove where Dominick’s used to be — the neighborhood really needs another option!

I don’t know which one is worst; Caputos or this one. They both have rotten meat but one is closer than the other.

The store is the right size for me. I dislike these huge places where you get tired just trying to find the right aisle. But the really bad bad bad thing is OUTSIDE. They don’t shovel the walk properly, they don’t care about the awful condition of the parking lot next to the banquet hall. MAYBETHEOWNERCAN’T READENGLISH and he doesn’t read these Unilocal reviews. Carts are everywhere and when you call to tell them where they can find others, they don’t even thank you. The butcher is the nicest guy you can find. He is an older man who is willing to help in any way.

Its really not Super Low Foods at all. There are always shopping carts everywhere taking up the good parking spots. I only come here on my bum days, because there are too many people at caputos. The register people are usually nice, except for the lady that usually checks IDs for alcohol. its a so-so place, really.

Love Superlow! Small store and I don’t have to walk two miles from the produce to the dairy. The meat section is great! USDA Choice! Tender. Pork roasts are the best and the butcher always is helpful. Yes the atmosphere is not the greatest but I’m not there for scenery. They have the freshest apples, the best chocolate donuts and I would rather buy USDA Choice meat in an unmodern store than USDA chewy meat in a fancy store. Love superlow! They can add some more healthy options in the freezers section but otherwise I’m happy.

I won’t lie, the place is old as hell. It hasn’t had a face-lift in many many moons. Do not even bother with the produce, maybe its the Whole Foods snob in me, but I notice the little things, like rubbery broccoli and moldy corn. The people that work here probably hate their job since thats how they act when you need assistance. Granted, theres probably a few good eggs in the store but I’ve yet to encounter them. They also shaved down their Kinder chocolate section to basically nothing(whhyyyy?!). You’d think Caputos probably takes a lot of their business now that they are open down the block but do not be fooled. That parking lot will be packed mid afternoon especially if its a weekend. Go here if you need to, it isn’t the best, but its certainly not the worst. But take note: I always feel some what dirty after I leave this place. Hand sanitizer is a must.

Over priced small dirty store. Not even handicap friendly, the parkinglot is horrible in the winter good luck getting a parking spot. The people who work here are not friendly at all. The deli people don’t know what the hell their doing its not rocket science to slice meat and cheese. Oh my god and how they denied service to the woman in the whhel chair today. Are they f**ckin serious? It just baffels me. I will never return and this is my neighborhood grocer.

Nice little mix of ethnic food, but other than a few choice items you aren’t getting a grand deal on anything. Fruit and veggie section is clean and everything looks fresh, but aside from that this store appears to have a layer of dust on everything.

I go for the sales. I leave with a ton of food for CHEAP. I prefer it to Caputo’s for the parking and the ease of shopping. Good Italian, Greek and Polish selection. Good produce and really good meats. Nice kids working there and the parking lot attendant loaded my groceries into my car the last time I shopped. They have me for as long as I’m a local.

I shop at SuperLow’s for most of my meat and veggies. There is not a week that some cut of chicken or pork is in the 79 – 99 cent range. They have a good deli and the polish bakery items are superb. Their produce is almost always the cheapest around and it is easy to buy enough for the week without breaking the bank. They don’t tend to have organic stuff and everything should be washed really well before using. I tend to not buy canned good or drygoods here because they tend to be more expensive than what I can find elsewhere. The aisles are small and filled with the older crowd, so it you can get away with a hand basket you will move through the store faster.
