Great authentic Mexican food. Huge dining room with separate bar. Place is elegant, very clean and surprinsigly inexpensive. Service is also great.

Had an excellent chimichanga and margarita. Great place to stop on a road trip. Also loved the guacamole. Best Mexican place I’ve ever been to.

OMG this place is GREAT! Was here for my birthday dinner with my family. Carolina our waitress was great and very friendly. The food was amazing and fresh. I am very picky where I go to eat, when you get to the place it’s appearance outside is not appealing at all. I stepped inside because my husband convinced me, I am glad I did. We had the shrimp ceviche, the shrimp burrito, shrimp quesidilla and the NY strip steak. We couldn’t finish all our meal, we all had leftovers to take home. I had 3 margaritas A+++. Highly recommend this place we will definitely be back. Live mariachi sang me happy birthday. Great experience!

My wife and I ate here recently for lunch. It was our first visit. We couldn’t have been happier. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious. We had the guacamole(prepared fresh table side) and two of the combination platters. Every item was great and at least as good as any other Mexican restaurant we’ve visited in New York. We’ll be back… soon.

Came for dinner on a Tuesday at 7pm. when the hubsters and I noticed that Happy Hour was going on until 8pm we headed for the bar. Margaritas and White Wine sangria were great. Happy hour menu includes these chicken sombreros which were so AMAZING were ordered another two rounds! The calamari was ok, but could have been crunchier. the salsa and chips were enjoyable. Aesthetically, the venue needs a little love/updating on the exterior however there’s plenty of private parking, it’s right on a main road, and the bathrooms and venue itself were clean. All in its authentic Mexican spot great for an after work meet up.

Great!!! Hidden in plain sight on route 9A in Elmsford — a real gem of Mexican delight. Large uncrowded dining areas and a separate bar, clean bathrooms, comfortable seating for a large party or just a couple on an evening out — everything we ordered(a party of seven) was excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and we had a great duo of mariachis strumming and singing beautifully during the evening. Very good menu and specials beyond the typical«Mexican» food in most restaurants — quite authentic and well prepared.

I would of given this place 4 stars because the service was excellent, the food was tasty, and the staff was friendly. We couldn’t finish all of what we ordered so we decided to take the rest to go. When I get home and take the items out of the bag I noticed something moving inside of the shredded white cheese that we ordered, after taking a closer look it was a fly .how does a fly get trapped inside a plastic container .no clue and will not bother going again to find out! Sorry.

I have been to Mexican restaurants all over the country as a matter of fact early this year of 2015 I was in Mexico and I’m going to say it flat out this is hands down the best Mexican restaurant New York State has to offer from their fresh chips to the unbelievably fresh made in front of you guacamole to the chorrizo burrito and their spicy pork tacos every single thing on this menu is a must try this is hands down the best Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at better food than Mexico itself could provide…

Great food. Good service. Spicy salsa. Clean bathrooms! We pulled in to only 2 other cars in the lot at 2:00pm on a Sunday, so we were a bit worried, but we went based on the reviews. We will be back.

Best chips and salsa I’ve ever had at any Mexican restaurant. My food arrived promptly and was so fresh and authentic. It smelled divine. The service was exceptional and with such kindness and warmth. My server was Aracely.

I went there with a large party of 7 to try to celebrate 5 de mayo, we walk into the restaurant and stay by the host station but surprise there were no host, we saw that the restaurant had a few table, but it was not that crazy and they had 2 servers that day, after 5 minute a party of 3 walk out(we should have to get the message from there), without ordering nothing, I notice this because they had the menu in their table, and they did not had any water or chips on the table. After 10 more minutes, I call a server that was walking in the floor, but she told me you have to give me time!!!, so we decided to walk out too like the other party. Funny part was we call before to make sure that they could take our party, but still they treated us this way.

Very busy on Cinco de Mayo, food took quite a long time to come out. They entertained with dancing and mariachi band. But, again, be careful going on Cinco, food took long time to come out. Food was good tho.

The food and drinks here are amazing. I wish the prices were a little cheaper, but it’s worth the cost. I’ve had margaritas and tacos before, but the quality of both are amazing here. I’ve had Mexican food across the US, but I tip my cap to this place. I’m sure a place like this would thrive in white plains, but being less busy could mean more attention to quality.

Azteca is a real down and dirty authentic Mexican restaurant with excellent food that you would find throughout mexican towns from Pueblo to Guerra, or Tijuana to Mexico city! So, please don’t expect beautiful décor, you get standard tables, don’t expect Coronas you get Dos Equis, don’t expect and a taco bell beef burrito you get an authentic taco with freshly cooked beef with lots of fresh extras. By the way did I say the guacamole is outstanding and the hot sauce will get the hair on your back standing up! 4 stars from me great prices and the food is on point.

Just let me add two cents to the discussion here. I liked this place a lot, and I think I’ll be back because(IMHO) there aren’t enough GOOD Mexican restaurants in lower Westchester County. PARKING I like that this place is in a safe, busy well lit area, and they have their own lot. ’nuff said. ATMOSPHERE Hey, they try. Mexican themed art, and TV’s tuned to Spanish speaking stations, give the place a decent feel. There’s some live music on the weekends. I’m not sure if it was the acoustics, or that I’ve been in a lot of loud places lately, but the sound level at this restaurant seemed nice and subdued. FOOD Good ingredients well prepared, not too spicy. Watch out for the red mole sauce though. Maybe it was just me, but my eyes were tearing, and my nose was running, for a day or two after trying a tiny bit of it. SERVICE Overall, very good. The staff wasn’t all over me, but they got everything right, reacted quickly, and were attentive. VALUE The prices are moderate for the area.

Azteca Paradise exceeded my high expectations so much, both last night when I went for dinner and tonight when I ate our leftovers, that I feel compelled to write my second Unilocal review ever. After ordering the guacamole, at first I thought I had no choice but to order another bowl(which they made fresh to order at the table) for my entrée because it was so delicious. But after the Mexican sausage and cheese and my glass of red sangria arrived, I realized it would be a colossal mistake to forego exploring the menu further. The waitstaff were warm, welcoming, and punctual – but also were patient and never pestered us to order before we were ready or hounded us with chit-chat. I ordered the #4 Special Combo and my fiancée ordered the pastor enchiladas. Spectacular. Not only were both entrees well-presented and delicious, but so were the refried beans and rice served on the side. The only downside to the evening was being too full for dessert, but if I could do it again, I’d probably order more of the guacamole anyway. All of the above, including three beers, two sangrias, and a generous tip, totaled around $ 85. I highly recommend Azteca Paradise to anybody who loves authentic Mexican cuisine. But if you’re looking for cheap, Americanized tacos, service, and atmosphere, this is not your place(as several other reviews tend to indicate).

The food here was fantastic. Glad we found this new hidden gem. I was searching for a place that made great margaritas and they did not disappoint! We had a hard time finding it because the address was listed here as 210 Saw Mill River Rd and it’s actually 210 N. Saw Mill River Rd. The north part makes a big difference! Fortunately I know the area and called the restaurant and asked what was nearby. Once we got there I was very impressed by how large and beautiful it was inside. The outside looked kind of lost in that neighborhood so I really hope people take the time to try it. My meal was fabulous. I had a reasonably priced combo plata with a chicken enchilada, a steak taco and a spicy pork flauta. Everything was so tasty. Margaritas were excellent and dessert was even better. I had the fried plantain with ice cream. Yummy! I’m definitely going back!
