It’s a shame that my review isn’t at least 4 stars, because the jerk chicken I ordered was SO DELICIOUS!!! Unfortunately the chicken was cool, like it had been sitting out. If the jerk chicken was hot it’d be worth 5 stars. I’d still have taken off a star because I was charged $ 5.44 when the price on the board was $ 4. I’ll keep searching for a local jerk chicken spot!

Love their jerrk chicken. Portions are huge. Me and my 7 years old son couldn’t finish one dish. Their baked items are also good specially beef petty with cheese

Was in the area yesterday for a work training and thought I’d give this place a try for lunch. Their lunch special prices are reasonable and includes a drink. I got the oxtail with rice and peas, vegetables and a piece of fried plantain to go. Since there is a $ 10 minimum to charge your card I ended up ordering the peppered shrimp as well. The oxtail meal wasn’t anything special, the rice and peas was bland and the oxtail was mostly inedible fat and bones. The peppered shrimp which I ate later were super spicy, which I expected so it’ll take me a couple days to finish them, lol. The 2 ladies behind the counter were friendly and patient when we were trying to decide what to order :)

Ok soooo we waited for jerk chicken to be cooked about 15 min… then waited for soup to finish… another 10min… Anyway, jerk was dry but ackee was tasty. Will we return? Not for jerk, but ackee yes. :). Staff nice prices ehhh

Good parking, friendly faces, great food! I stopped here on my way to do some shopping & was blown away at the experience I received. The jerk chicken was by far my favorite! the portion sizes & prices aren’t that bad either. My Friend got the Oxtail & she enjoyed it as well.

Food is good but can get rather pricey for their seafood items. The portion sizes are plentiful and can be shared.

Love the jerk chicken remind me of what I would get back home… The oxtail is good but they need to clean the fat off it. too fatty yuck… Other than that overall the food there is very good

This is good jerk chicken. There are a few places around this area that have good jerk chicken, but this place is different.
With other places, I find the employees to be aloof (see my review of Percy’s Jerk Hut for more details). They run out of food and the wait time, even when you call ahead, is unreasonable.
With Yard Flavors, they are fast and friendly. The employees (owners too) are pleasant and appreciative of the business. On top of that, the food is great.

Without a doubt this place is one of my favorite Jamaican spots. Conveniently located near a parking lot, so there’s a good chance you’ll find a spot without walking too far. The food is pretty reasonable priced and the food is delicious. Out of all the Caribbean spots nearby this pork from here is the most tender. SO GOOD. The cashiers/​cooks are always really friendly. There are a couple nicely decorated tables if you’d like to sit down and eat. I’d definitely recommend!
