I have been going to Beena’s Salon for over a year now. My friend recommended me to her and now my family and neighbor’s go to her too. They have excellent customer service. I was always scared to start a laser treatment but Beena herself encouraged me and took me through the whole process and I am SO happy! She goes out of her way to do my treatment herself. I am punctual with my appointments and that helps the hair removal treatment tremendously. After the first sit I noticed a major difference. I have very sensitive skin and Beena knew exactly how to take care of it! She gave me an amazing exfoliator for my face and it has even helped further with even skin tone and my breakouts. I have had 6 sittings and I have two more left. I can see a big difference with each sitting. She knows what she is doing. She’s been doing it for over 10 years!!! Totally recommend this place! :) wouldn’t trust anybody else!

Not happy with laser. First of all you don’t do it right and always miss spots so I just stopped doing it at your salon. You told me in the beginning I only need 6 sessions and I did 8 it didn’t get any better because it was doing the opposite of what it was suppose to do. It was growing back thicker and faster towards the end it didn’t even last a week. very disappointed and waste of my money. Please don’t go here for laser it’s a waste of money. They just want money so they are not doing it right.

I went for hair laser removal. I did 10 sessions. It is recommended that you go for 8 – 10 treatments and then once every 6 months to maintain it. It was a waste of my money. Beena herself did mine, and sometimes Elizabeth, who was so rude to me when I complained that I still had hair on my face. She would turn to the side and roll her eyes. I went back to have them do it twice because they missed areas and there’s not much lighting in the room. Beena would never use the right number on the hair removal machine I noticed and then when I complained, she said she’ll hire it so it’ll be more effective. They do it on purpose so you keep coming back. Even after 10, I still have hair. Her response was that only people who really don’t have much hair should do it. It doesn’t work for all. I wish I had gone to somewhere where they had a better machine and not manipulated by beena. It’s not worth coming to this place for it. You will not be happy. They tell you what you want to hear and then when you complain they will tell you to keep coming and coming and coming to spend your money.

Used to come here all the time but there is no consistency in the stylists/​threaders. Once you get used to someone they are gone. I do not recommend the laser at all. They shave with a blade to prep and I have more than a few scars from the razor nicks including on my face. After a year of treatments there is no decrease in growth so it was a waste of time And I have scars from the razor cuts. They need to be more careful and consistent. I used to have to remind them what settings to use on the laser. If I didn’t they would always use the wrong one and you can tell the difference during application. Definitely not worth it! Stay away

Solely based on the haircut I got there, I will never, ever, set foot in that place again. I’ve gotten better cuts from 11^th graders at Sewanhaka…

This review is based on their henna. I was there yesterday with my friend and daughter to get henna. I had gotten henna before and love it.
When we went in they weren’t exactly jumping for joy which set off an alarm for me but we proceeded. I sat down for the henna but it was a bit dry so the lady had to fix it.
Once she started I could tell she cut the tip too wide because the lines were starting to get too thick. I wanted to stop here but I proceeded anyway. My hand turned out awful.
My 4year old wanted to get it too and she wanted stars. I thought to myself ok hard could a star be. Well it was bad.
I now have to try to scrub this crap off. Thank god they didn’t charge me for my daughter.
I was just upset that I spent money for a job to be done but the person doing it didn’t seem qualified.
I won’t be returning!

They always do my eyebrows the way I want, and are never usually too crowded. Plus, I love that they have a loyalty card for a free service after 9 visits!

I am sure their other services are ok, but I definitely regret getting my eyebrows done here. When I frst started doing my brows here, they were thick & full. Now a year later, they are so thin & I’m in the process of growing them out all over again which stinks. Also my sister came to get her lip threaded & she was bleeding in several spots. I think the ladies here are too rough. The price is good but I won’t be returning

I come here for eyebrow threading. A few girls have taken care of me. I am satisfied with my eyebrows. I think the last girl could have done a better job. But I was able to trim them to my like.
I also got my underarms waxed. Pain free, very satisfied.
I come here because it’s close to my house. And a friend recommended it to me. I will have to ask her for the name of the girl that she regularly goes to.
Overall, I do recommend this place. I’d say just speak up about how you like your eyebrows done.

I agree with the comment below. I was recently at the beauty salon and I had a great experience. I went to get a haircut and the lady who was cutting my hair was very nice and did an amazing job. The price was also very affordable considering what other salons charge on long island. Overall, I was very pleased and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nice and affordable beauty salon.

Burnt my face in 5 places while waxing upperlips. Lady was not sorry and said that is how my skin is. I have been getting my upperlips waxed for 10 years!

Love! I get all my waxes here by Nikki like clockwork And all my friends come here for their eyebrowns and all other waxes. Lil pricey, but hey the price of everything is goog up
