Awesome sandwiches and subs and their homemade Italian wedding soup is possibly the best I’ve had!

I can’t say enough great things about this place! Literally everything I’ve eaten here has been fresh and tasty. Their soups are out of this world and the gelato is the perfect treat for the dogs days of summer. Trust me, you could tell them to surprise you and blind order and you won’t be dissapointed. They’ve become a weekly destination for me and anyone I’ve told about them. Thanks guys and gals! Keep up the good work!

Here is a place that has been on my bookmark list for quite awhile. It is located on York, a short distance south of North avenue. It is actually part of a building that houses a restaurant which I had ate in a few times a couple years back. The inside is a nice Italian deli with many sandwiches, pizza, etc. to choose from. I ordered an Italian sub to go which the young lady who took my order then proceeded to make my sandwich for me. The sandwich was pretty big but also was pretty good. Now, I think an Italian deli(Serino’s) near where I live makes the best sandwiches and other Italian items like a killer pizza. However, I would not hesitate to stop in here again and can recommend it to you to check out if you’re nearby. Cheers

Our favorite place for wood fired pizza! The grilled veggie pizza is amazing, and they always have a rotating«pizza of the day» on their menu if you want to try something new. Never have I eaten a pizza here I didn’t like. The best part is even after they close you can still order carry out pizzas through their place next door, Angelos.

Man, I think Rosalia’s is the best. I love love love their sandwiches. I started coming here shortly after it opened, and even convinced my work to start catering from here for… pretty much everything. It’s just … so good. The service is always pretty quick, and the menu has a lot of things to chose from. I haven’t tried anything other than sandwiches, but I imagine there’d be nothing that isn’t good from here. I’ll be back, and then I’ll be back again. It is small on the inside, but it really works for what it is.

Great little place! Not being too familiar with the area, it can be tricky to find. Rosalia’s is the deli side of Angelo’s Restaurant. Just look for Angelo’s just south of North Ave. on the east side of York(across the street from Panera). The wife and I each had baked French onion soup that was very good. They have this available everyday as well as Minestrone, chili, and a soup of the day. We split a Panzerotti(like a calzone) and that was excellent too. Everything here looked super fresh and delicious. We brought home a cannoli and a red velvet cake pop– both excellent. Prices here are very reasonable. I look forward to coming back and trying a wood fire pizza or one of their many great-sounding sandwiches. Beautiful Italian bakery cookies are only $ 7.99/ lb. They also have high-quality deli meats and cheeses sliced to order for much lower prices than Mariano’s. Service was good too. Try it, you’ll like it!

Bookmarked this place to check it out and then I realized it was right next to my office! Large menu and I haven’t had anything I didn’t like! I’ve gotten the Classic Italian Sub and it was amazing, the bread was super fresh. Another time I visited I’ve gotten their«Boys Club» Panini which had 3 pieces of bread in it. Lots of food! They also have those yummy Italian cookies there that melt in your mouth. I also love the fact that they have a ton of different bottled drinks there(organic). I try a new one every time I go! Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area, I’m sure you will not be disappointed!

Great and quaint place to go for lunch. Number one stone oven pizza and number one gelato. The cookies are the best especially the Lemon cookies!!! Buffet next door in the dinning room if you run out of room in the deli. Gotta try it once, you won’t be disappointed. Descent prices too.

Great deli! The paninis are the best, good soup. And like any Italian deli they have good soups, frozen lasagna and a huge selection of cold cuts.

Not only is Rosalia’s the best pizza in Elmhurst, but the customer service is impeccable. Last night I came in to pick up an order we had placed over the phone, and Rosalia’s had unfortunately temporarily ran out of pizza dough. We ordered a 16″ pizza, but they only had enough dough initially to make a 12″, so they had that size ready for pick up. I paid for the 12″ since that was already made, but they quickly and unexpectedly were able to make the originally ordered 16″ and gave that to us for free since I had been waiting! Amazing customer service and definitely will be my #1 pick for pizza moving forward! Regarding the pizza itself, they’re made in their wood-burning oven and the ingredients are incredibly fresh! The sauce is delicious, and the crust is fantastic! For the other menu items, the salads are very good, and I look forward to trying the subs as they look delicious as well.

Been coming here for a few years now and I will still say this is the best little deli for lunch or dinner. I sometimes stop here and pick up the lasagna for two for dinner. It’s the perfect amount for two people, with a side salad and bread. I will say this and it’s the only negative comment I can give is sometimes the salads you get on the side with sandwiches have old wilted and brown lettuce. It’s very unappealing, and not sure why they don’t notice ??? I still like coming and love that they have a wood fire pizza of the day. It’s a great value.

Excellent lunch place! We had the veggie pizza which was red peppers, onions, mushrooms, egg plant, goat cheese, mozzarella, arugula, balsamic vinaigrette– delicious! A 16″ pizza was plenty big for two people with leftovers, we should of got the 12″ because we kept eating! Thin crust, made to order, wood oven. Great lunch place! Seats about 30 people only so go on a off lunch hour, we went at 1pm and was able to find seating. Parking could be tricky. If you have a picky eater child this is not the place for you. Ultra Organic and fresh.

I will be back to try the pizza when I have a little more time. As far as sandwiches and soup go, this place was great. They used high quality meats that tasted fresh and were sliced perfectly. All the ingredients were fresh and the potato soup was delicious. Great spot for a quick stop for lunch, and also for a little longer lunch(which I intend to do sooner or later). Wide variety on the menu. Service was great… a little slow, but it’s not Panera, I don’t expect to have my sandwich ready before I finish paying. Hours are limited on weekends, but a great spot for lunch.

Best sub place in Elmhurst. The wait time last time I went here was HORRIBLE! That’s why they lost a star. It just took waaaayyy to long to make/get me my sandwich.

Elmhurst IL — Fantastic! Without a doubt, one of the best subs I’ve ever had. I ordered a spicy(Italian) sub, the antipasto salad, and a jasmine tea ginger ale… Extremely satisfying meal. The deli meats this place uses are really high quality and fresh. All of the ingredients are fresh and delicious. Prices are very fair as well! I wish I could have spent a few days in Elmhurst so I could try out some of their other sandwiches.

I have been to a few Italian delis in the area and Rosalia’s takes the cake. Proof: I have been there three times in a week for lunch since I discovered it! I have a weakness for interesting ingredients in sandwiches and the Goud-Apple Panini had me at first sight. Arugula is also great in sandwiches. I am currently working down their Panini list: Goud-Apple, Smoked Salmon, Prosciutto are all good; Wild Mushroom, I am coming for you next. Many places only allow half sandwich option with cold sandwiches but you can get half Panini with soup or salad here(a big plus for a soup and hot sandwich person like me). Did I mention their Panini are made to order? The gentleman manning the pizza station seems to be very serious about his craft, who I imagine makes might fine pizzas. I bought some almond cookies home and love them. I read that they have pumpkin gelato but I have not seen it in their gelato bar – bring it on Rosalia’s! It’s almost winter already. Their chicken dumpling soup was not my favorite(the dumplings are too thick and doughy). The tomato sauce for their Spinach Lasagna was too tangy for my liking. Cannoli was just ok. Prices are very reasonable. Friendly employees. Seating seems adequate. Parking lot is not big but I was able to find a spot every time(during lunch hours).

Best sandwiches in the area. A hidden gem. They use boars head meats and cheeses. The chipotle Gouda cheese to die for. Home made soups perfect for those chilly fall days. Elmhurst area wake up we have the best sandwich place in the area Try the Gouda apple panini. Or Reuben. U will not be disappointed. Great family owned gem!!!

Without question this place has the best sub sandwich in Elmhurst. I hate to say this because the place is largely undiscovered and I don’t want it to get too busy. I had the Spicy Italian Sub on Friday. The bread was soft and chewy, the oil and vinegar was just right and the giardinera gives it a nice kick. The prices are reasonable compared to any other sub place in town and they don’t skimp on the meat or cheese. The sub with chips and an ice tea was a reasonable $ 8. Try the cookies and enjoy the atmosphere. This is a cozy, comfortable lunch spot. As of this writing there are ninety-six restaurants in Elmhurst. I plan on eating at, and reviewing, every one. On our usual weekend afternoon in Elmhurst, we decided to hit up Rosalia’s Deli for lunch. It’s close enough to downtown Elmhurst, though a little too close to the busy street to be comfortable just letting our 2 year old wander outside. But the inside is quite nice. It’s a deli, so you can order and pick up your own cheese and meats, if you choose. But instead I got a salmon flatbread, while my wife order the chicken BBQ sandwich. I really liked my wife’s pizza. They have a wood-fired oven and use it well, as the crust was nice and chewy. I also remember the barbecue sauce being really smoky. Likewise, the salmon sandwich was light, but I loved the combination of the crème fraîche spread and arugula lettuce. Those three flavors pair exceptionally well together, and the result was a great, fresh fish sandwich. We’ll be coming back for more.
