Great chicken in the local area. These guys work hard, and I hope they get more business. This place looks like it has a lot of potential.

I love this place! It’s really convenient to the 7 train. I had a cheese quesadilla whuch was great and only $ 2, a chicken soft taco, cheese cake, and chips and guac. Their service was great and fast. They are very welcoming too. The menu selection is impressive and I really like the little salsa bar too. If you live around Elmhurst definjtely give it a try!

When Pollo Feliz opened it was more than just a breath of fresh air from the mundane. The food was excellent, inexpensive and the service was fast, friendly & efficient. The choice of eateries are so few in this part of Queens. It’s either pizza, Chinese, or lesser Mexican joints. While my girlfriend and I still frequent the restaurant twice a week, these days it’s more out of convenience than anything else. I’ve noticed the quality of the food has declined, the lack of cleanliness now almost drives me away, and I notice people come and go only to use the restroom. The staff looks like it has been rolled back. The few that have remained seem overworked and unhappy. The image I have of this place now is congruent to many of the other failing small businesses in the area. The steak burrito I had today was falling apart in my hands, the chips were stale and the sides I ordered were not fresh. I’ve noticed this pattern for the last month. The only reason I even come here anymore is Steve. While the food has declined, I remember when this place first opened and the image was synonymous with the first face I saw. Steve is uncompromising in his pursuit of excellence and great customer service. He loves his patrons and it shows through his attentiveness. Whether the food is good or not that day, when I hand my debit card over, Steve is the only reason why I’m glad to pay. If he ever left, neither the food nor the other indifferent, inattentive staff are good enough to keep me around. A multitude of friends feel the same way. And as many other businesses have went under in this area, I guarantee this one will too. Back to Taste of Italy I guess. I can only eat so many chicken parms in a week.

I like Pollo Feliz. They seem to be a very good fast food joint. I had a steak for lunch. It was Steak, Chiles, onions, salad, salsa and tortillas. I never got my salad. That sucked. However, the items were tasty and well priced and as a result my review is not affected by the lack of salad. I got a Jamaica as well. The service at the counter was great and she came over to the table I was sitting at with my food. I would return and I think that Pollo Feliz is a great addition to the area, even one supersaturated with chicken places.

I don’t know if this place is new but its a gem in multi cultural queens. Not from the area but am glad I walked in. We ordered the whole chicken and it was delish. 5 star fast food? Yes its possible… But even better then greatly priced latin food is their extra friendly staff. Will def be back soon, the guacamole chips, quesadillas and corn on the cob is a must!

This restaurant has a chicken mascot in the front. Yep. Most important fact right there in the first sentence of the review. Ya know, I’ve had nightmares about an alien world somewhere with an alien dressed in a human costume working for a restaurant with a human logo. The mascots would be a white family giving you thumbs up and stuff, then you walk in and discover they serve you human meat. The restaurant’s name would be «Happiest Humans» or something. Cool, still got your appetite? Read on. Get chicken. Don’t get steak. Other proteins here are by no means bad, but it is apparent that they give their chicken first class citizen treatment. Whether sliced or whole, the chicken here do not disappoint. It is injected with some mysterious umame that makes me crave guac and beans. It is not exactly fast food like Ludioss claims. While I am the type of dude who loves rotisserie chicken, the food here taste fresh off the grill. They do delivery, but they tend to be extremely busy so walk-ins are encouraged.
