Great local sports bar that has plenty of room to fit even on the busiest of sports nights. A good selection of micro brews and prices that are respectable it’s not a bad joint to unwind.

This place is the perfect«go to» place for a pint and above average bar food! And the service has always been great… although I’ve never sat a a table just at the bar.

Good service, clean, reasonable. The chicken sliders were good. The environment was friendly and not overly loud which is always nice to be able to communicate with your party.

Two words. Waffle fries. We came here on a Friday night looking for some food and a good beer list. It provided both! The bar is nice and clean with lots of tables and tvs. The crowd was mixed as it was late for dinner and two early for the bar scene. Our waitress was great and got our drinks in right away as we pursued the thorough menu. They have Big 10 themed burgers — each one sounds better than the next! I’m a Hoosier girl and was so happy to order the Hoosier Turkey Burger with waffle fries. My husband got the Legend Turkey Club and loved it. There are many other items I’d like to return to try. Also, they seem to have some great week night specials happening that might be worth checking out. The location of this bar is great, it’s a stones throw from the Elmhurst training there are a few other bars and restaurants on the street that all look interesting. Our friend told us this area gets run over by a college crowd sometimes but we didn’t see it, although we where gone by 9pm. Over all we like the spot and will be back to catch a game sometime for sure!

We’ve eaten here many times now. Always good service and good food. The atmosphere is nice too, a little quieter, which is nice, and the outside seating is cool. Very reasonably priced too.

I come here regularly and really love the service and appetizers. The craft beer selection is also fantastic and I enjoy trying the new ones as they switch their taps regularly. The only downside of this place is the size. It is rare to come and find a seat and with no hostess, you are left just hovering around. The noise is a huge issue too… you have to scream to talk, as the music blasts through the place. Great service and good food carries this place though! The bartender we have had a few times is great.

The pot roast nachos and the southwest bbq salad are delicious! They have a great outdoor patio, and lots of tap beer selections. Janel and Elisa are great. very friendly and attentive. The only downfall of this place is the seating. The tables are six deep, and there aren’t very many of them. There are smaller round tables in the front windows, but kind of away from everything. Sitting at the bar is your best bet.

Not the best food, not the worst food, but really? Why go to Pints for anything but just that… pints. And maybe to catch a game; they’re good at that, too.

Food and beer selection are great but the queso is ridiculous! It’s literally that canned cheese you buy from the store with a few green onions on top.

Haven’t been here in a few months, but I have to say I still crave their burgers and sweet potato fries every now and then. They also make a pretty good Bloody Mary. They have week day specials on drinks too. Oh and on the weekends you can get the sliders for 1.00. I think if you like burgers like I like burgers, then give this place a try.

I’ve been here twice, each to watch the game, and it’s never left me as satisfied as I hoped. Both times we sat in the beer garden outside with servers taking about 20 – 25 minutes to bring out only 2 shots. The drinks are overpriced and although considering it’s a beer garden with a lax environment, the patrons are obnoxious and overly drunk. It’s odd that families bring their young kids to the beer garden while there’s an entire table of people right next to them falling over themselves and being vulgar. Perhaps it’s always like this, either way, I probably won’t be back.

Pints is my go-to bar whenever I’m in Elmhurst. It has a Chicago neighborhood vibe to it, yet at the same time is more upscale than your average pub/sports bar. They carry a lot of local craft beer that other places in the area don’t, and I’ve never eaten anything there that I didn’t like. They also have a friendly staff and a cool beer garden in back with tvs. Bonus: it’s within walking distance from the train!

Came here for the first time on Tuesday to watch the Cubs game. Sat at the bar and was approached immediately by the bartender, who was very knowledgeable about craft beer. She let me sample a pumpkin cider that was awesome! My husband and I asked for appetizers recommendations, and the bartender suggested Pot Roast Nachos. Those were also just delicious! The whole place was packed, but we never had to wait to order drinks. The bartender was on it! When we asked her if Pints shows Packers games(my husband is a fan… not me!), she said they have the Sunday Ticket and that they show every game on Sundays. We will be back for sure!

Great bar! Has a very decent food menu and a large batch beers, plus a decent selection that can be served as a flight. Prices were reasonable. Portions were large. Beer was great. Service was great. It’s not a large location and it was packed on a Wednesday night. Park in the large city parking garage across the street for free after 5pm. Just a warning to other travelers.

The food here has always been a win for me. My personal favorite is the Hawkeye Burger. Flavorful and delicious. And I love the waffle fries. Like many of the other reviews, service is usually terrible. The staff is often too busy talking to each other and their friends to assist customers. However, the last time I went, we actually had decent service and I was shocked. Cute atmosphere, especially the back patio. And nice drink selection.

I LOVED trying out Pints! The bar has lots of character with funny signs to read, and outdoor seating area plus a back patio too to accommodate lots of people. I came here on a weeknight, and found service to be great! Our waitress was on top of keeping our drinks full and checking on us without being over bearing. When I slightly hesitated in ordering a beer, she offered me a sample before committing to a full glass, which was really nice. They have a decent amount of on tap craft option, and bottles, as well as a full liquor bar. They have a good array of events and specials revolving around those events too! We were there during craft beer week, so any craft beer purchase at all got us a free Pints pint glass to take home! Also, as it is National Burger Month, I ordered the MVP burger– topped with avocado, pepper jack cheese and jalapenos. I have acid reflux and should really stay away from spicy foods, but I decided I NEEDED this burger. I’m usually a ‘medium salsa’ kinda gal, and found this burger to have just about that amount of kick, which was perfect. The thick avocado slices helped cool it down too. The bun was super fresh, and the burger was super juicy when I cut into it… it was AWESOME. I ordered sweet potato fries as my side which were plentiful and great, but tried some of my guy’s waffle fries and found them kind of bland and actually bad-tasting. Maybe I just got a bad one in the batch? I see others loved them! All in all, we had an amazing time and would not hesitate to come back(and bring all my friends along!)

I give this place 3 stars because its a nice looking bar. However, I had the worst service there last weekend. We were there for a private party and were seated in the outdoor enclosed patio. We were invited to this private party by a friend. I arrived with my bf and we stepped into the patio. All of a sudden we get yelled at, I assume by the manager, telling us that it was a private party. Umm… we were guests of such party. He could give asked if we were there for that or asked if he could help us. He assumed we didn’t belong there. Food was provided buffet style, appetizers and such. I did not eat but my friends did. The entire time we were there we saw the witress probably twice. One of those times it was when she brought our bar tab. The service was terrible, waitress was rude, when she came to our table she didnt clear it, we sat there with dirty plates and she never asked if we needed anything. We had to flag her down both times. I would give the place another chance but the first impression was not good.

Pints has one of the best burgers in town. I had the«Go Blue Burger». It was very tasty, and I’d definitely order it again. My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich and she said it was good. I didn’t like the sweet potato fries. They weren’t bad, but not as good as Back Alley Burger. Skip the loaded waffle fries, actually, skip the waffle fries altogether. I’m agreeing with another reviewer who noted that they are too chewy. They definitely need to be cooked a little longer. A friend ordered«The Big Ten» sandwich and was disappointed. Stick to the burgers, even the waitress recommended that. In terms of atmosphere, this is a bar. Most, if not all, of the tables inside are high tops. We were there early, and it wasn’t crowded, but the later it gets the louder it gets. As of this writing there are ninety-six restaurants in Elmhurst. I plan on eating at, and reviewing, every one. Follow me on Unilocal

3 cheers for the Pints Cheerleader burger! Homemade black bean/veg burger on a pretzel bun with waffle fries for $ 8! Delicious. I love when a bar has good beer and«real» vegetarian options. Not that their fried mac n cheese wedges are a bad option by any means… I would highly recommend those too! Great beer selection; lots of craft brews. They are also currently doing cider beer mixed drinks! Drink specials daily.

Came here with some buddies a few weeks ago. The burgers are really tasty, especially with the pretzel buns. And the loaded waffle fries are fantastic. I wasn’t feeling beerish, but knew they had Woodchuck on tap so I had that. Nice to have something different. What didn’t impress me was the service. Not once, but twice did they completely forget about my wife’s order. How does that even happen? She was there the same time as the rest of us, she ordered with the rest of us, but she kept getting forgotten as if the waitress had a grudge against her. I’m knocking this down a star for that. The guys in our group all tried the bacon sundae for dessert. It was good, but not really great and well-executed. I think if the bacon was broken up instead of just laying on top the presentation would have worked better. I’ll more than likely be back, but this particular visit was disappointing especially since I was with a bunch of friends that hadn’t been there before.
