Tragically my glasses broke a few days ago. I knew they were eventually going to die anyway. I had gotten them from a bad company I won’t name, and though they were Burberry, the quality was more as if they were a fauxberry. I had a spare but the prescription was so old I couldn’t see anything with them, and searched for a place nearby. I came across eyeglass factory and called them up. Sandy picks up the phone and I tell her my story, and though she closes at 7, and I get off work at 8, she said she’d wait for me. I already found that impressive. I rushed out of work a little early and got there by 8ish. Sandy was so kind and patient. She really wanted to set a perfect prescription for me for my lenses. She had me walk around for awhile with the trial lenses to make sure I was comfortable, and thought it was close to 9pm by the time we were done she had called to rush my glasses. They were available for me by noon the next day! Unbelievable… Not even 24hrs later they were ready and I got my frames on my lunch break. And I have to admit besides the service being amazing, these are the best frames I ever worn. The style and mostly the prescription. I’ve never seen so clearly and comfortably. No headaches no nothing. Sandy is amazing. And I love my new look with these frames. Thank you so much!

I had a bad experience from mandarin optical a few stores down so I was looking for a new store for an eye exam for contacts. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and had the eye exam within minutes. The doctor was very friendly and gave me an option if I wanted to order contacts through her. I decided to since the prices weren’t too bad. I will definitely be coming back here again for contacts.

First time in a long time I finally got my eye examined. I was recommended to come here and they were really nice and friendly. I knew I needed glasses but since this is the first time Im getting them, they were very helpful and patient while I tried to figure out what style I liked. I tried SOMANY before Sandy suggested and picked out just the right one for me. Ill definitely recommend to anyone and ill be going back myself. She also filled out my dmv vision test report. When I read the negative review here and just couldnt understand it cuz if they gave you an attitude especially over the phone and saw red flags from the get go, then why the hell would u give them your business? Doesnt make sense right? Not like they’re the only eyewear place out there but honestly I got no complaints about coming here and neither my best friend who’s been coming here for years.

This place is exceptionally horrid! I was looking for a place to swap out my lenses from my Rayban’s after they’ve taken a tumble and scratched my mirror lenses. I called this place and a Sandy picked up and already plenty of red flags went up. During the call she was exceptionally rude and unproductive. I asked if they swapped lenses for Rayban’s and she continually insisted that it could be done if I came in for her to check it out and order the lenses for me so I decided to take a visit to the store. The outside of the Eyeglass factory is completely disheveled and run down; the red store cover outside was bleeding colors and completely tattered and destroyed. I, being the idiot that I am, decided to go in anyways. I met the two strangest sales associates ever. Apparently Sandy was not in and could not confirm that she insisted the Eyeglass Factory on Broadway can and would swap the lenses for me. One of them in particular started saying within earshot that she does not know if my Raybans in question were authentic or not but ultimately decided that they were in fact fake. I don’t know about proper sales etiquette but I’m quite sure you don’t insult your customers within earshot and state quite loudly for the entire store to hear that my Raybans are fake. So the associates call up Sandy which she states can be done and the associates in question stated to her on the phone that she believes that my Raybans authenticity are questionable at best but ultimately decides to take the order anyways. They charge me 70 dollars and told me that it would take a week. I begrudgingly and stupidly paid the associates as it was quite difficult to find a place to change Rayban lenses. A few days later Sandy calls me and once again essentially yells at me over the phone saying that she can give me generic lenses instead of the original OEM lenses that I want. I then questioned her why it would be 70 dollars to change out authentic Rayban lenses for some generic lenses(I’ve lost my patience at this time) and I just said that I would come pick them up the next day and told them not to do any work on it. She promptly told me that if I wanted my lenses I would have to come on Monday as her store was closed on Sunday and hung up on me. Worst store ever for any optical needs.

I was looking forward to a good reputable, and inexpensive eyewear joint. And found this spot by my neighborhood and the lady there was helpful and had given exactly what I needed. I would recommend it if your are looking for a quick fix or temporary frames. But me personally I shop online for all my main optical needs.
