This was my first time coming to Bakers Square for breakfast. It was really good. I order a skillet that had sausage, bacon, ham, tomatoes, green pepper, onion, hold the mushrooms, cheese and eggs over hash browns with an English muffin. Top it off with a glass of OJ. It was fresh and service was fast. We went to two other places for breakfast before ending up here. Guess people don’t often think of Bakers Square for breakfast. Glad we did!

We got a couple of pies to go. Not only were the pies great, they also provided an abundance of utensils, napkins and plastic containers to eat from or carry your piece home after the gang broke up.

Like the free pie Wednesdays:) They should market the place to younger guys because there are a lot of cute young ladies flirting w old men for big tips. I went here a few months ago and when I first entered the entrance it smelled like some old folks had an accident on the floor or something like urine or restroom smell. Not great for a restaurant so I told them about it but it is still the same months later. I can’t understand why theywould not fix that and idk if I want to go back if not. You could still smell it after sitting down.

Their pie was good. I grabbed the pick 3 special which was half a sandwich, soup or salad, and a slice of pie. I had the BLT — good, lots of bacon, good tomatoes. Salad w/ranch — good crisp lettuce. Didn’t taste like it had been sitting all day. Apple pie — warm, good crust, not dry. it was good. Lots of old people(lots) but that shouldn’t stop you. They know good pie.

I can’t think of anything bad about this place. Honestly. I mean their food is mediocre, but then again they are not claiming to be a gourmet restaurant. I like to get their chicken fingers or the french dip. Their oreo pie is just amazing, and I get their tomato basil soup every time I go. Check it out. Great place!

What’s not to like? A casual restaurant that serves standard fare all-day breakfast, lunch and dinner. Omelets, salads, soups, sandwiches, burgers, pot pies, entrees and the pièce de résistance: pie. There’s no rules here; you can even have pie with breakfast and no one gives you weird looks(except maybe for your mom). The meals are good, too.(Almost too) Big portions at reasonable prices. The soups vary from okay to outstanding. Some are bit too salty for my taste, like the cream of broccoli; but the chicken noodle? Wow. Big chunks of chicken and the wide noodles. Very good. My usual lunch choice at Baker’s Square is the grown-up grilled cheese: served with crispy on the outside bread, lots of gooey, melted cheese, a couple of slices of bacon and tomato. There is nothing healthy about it, but when you’re going to finish your meal off with pie, why bother? Baker’s Square is definitely a splurge kind of place if you’re doing a full meal. There’s at least twenty plus different kinds of pie available by the slice or by the whole pie. Bakers Square have their pies in the case near the cash register and then place a table top display with pictures describing the various pies. There’s no way you cannot be tempted. My favorites have been the coconut cream, strawberry-rhubarb, or caramel pecan chocolate silk, but I doubt I’d turn any of them down. Lunch at this place can be crazy busy, but with a lunch special that includes a ½ sandwich, soup or salad, beverage and a slice of pie — it’s understandable. The staff does a great job of keeping your drinks filled, checking back to see if you have everything, and then asking if you’re ready for your pie. I’ve never been here with anyone who wasn’t ready for that.

Free Pie Wednesdays. Stumbled upon this place looking for a coffee shop after 9PM on a Wednesday night. Long story best left for another time ;-). The parking lot was full, which was strange to us. However upon entering and finding out that a free slice of pie was available for the price of a beverage, it all made sense. The service was prompt, kind and courteous. The Key Lime pie was delicious. Not as good as Florida, but quite good considering I’m in Wisconsin. The coffee was decent. The place was quite clean and everybody was friendly. A fine experience for the short time we were there.

Went here for the first time in a long while. It was«Free Pie Wednesday» so it was extremely busy, and noisy. However, they seemed prepared for the crowd, and had a lot of staff working. They had managers, and hostesses going around asking people if they needed things, and refilling drinks. The food was good and there was quite a variety to choose from. The prices seemed a little less than similiar chain restaurants. The restaurant looked like it has had a few updates. They had a fire going which I enjoyed. We had a good time, and the free pie was the«icing on the cake» or should I say«the ice cream on the pie»
