The service in the bar area is outstanding. The food is very good and they have a great variety. Great place for lunch or happy hour.

Terrible quality food that sits under heat lamps while the servers wander around aimlessly. I have had to send food back on two separate occasions now… And I will not be giving them a chance to have it happen again. Find another location for your Mexican fix, trust me.

I have always gotten pretty fresh food, excellent chips and quick service. Very consistent for all my visits and on the last visit when a dish was too hot they gladly exchanged it.

chips and salsa were my favorite. The dishes are good, like any chained restaurant, nothing too impressive. Portion is huge! We have 4 adults and 1 kids, ordered two entrees and one side salad, were more than enough.

Took a college friend out last week for her birthday dinner. Yeah, we’ve known each other a LONG time. We both started with a margarita, no salt this time. It was Chevy’s margarita, and the chips and salsa can be rather addicting. I got the Chevy’s Super Cinco: chicken enchilada, beef enchilada, beef crispy taco, and hand-rolled pork tamale and a chile relleno. Came with rice and a scoop of the corn tamalito. To, me the rice is a throw-away; I never even taste it. I ate the crispy taco. .. didn’t get the crispy, because it was in a flour tortilla(which was A-OK with me), but full of fresh lettuce and lovely tomato. Didn’t have to add any sauce to it! The chile relleno was so big(never seen a pepper this big) it needed its own plate! It was delicious, and we both had some tastings from it – lovely full of ooey-gooey cheese. I took all the rest home. My dining partner got a massive platter of nachos(can’t remember the kind) that came with pico, sour cream and guac. Again, way too much food for one sitting. But great for leftovers! In the end, I did mention to our lovely server(who was quite attentive and helpful) that we had a birthday celebration in our midst. My dining partner was mortified when they came out singing with the dessert and that big hat! We both took a couple tastes of the dessert, which was a scoop of vanilla ice cream in a crusty shell, topped with chocolate sauce and a cherry. It was tasty. She gave me the hat!

Well, it was only my first time here tonight, so I will try to update if I’m ever here again. Got a pitcher of a margarita on the rocks to split with some people — definitely had a lot in the pitcher, but even after almost 3 full glasses(pint glasses) — I still didn’t even have a buzz. Margaritas = weak. We ordered the steak quesadilla as an appetizer, which was pretty tasty — I’m a sucker for delicious cheese and steak melded together between a tortilla. As a meal, the boy and I split the carnitas over rice with the vegetarian black beans. The beans were awful — they tasted a little like baked beans, with a BBQ taste — but were way overcooked, and really, really salty. The carnitas wasn’t that bad, very tender — but again, super, SUPER salty. The service was very good — our chips and salsa were promptly refilled, as were our waters(and that was quite often, seeing as how salty everything was). I would come here again because it’s close — but would definitely ask them to take up the booze a notch — drinking empty calories is only acceptable if you’re actually getting your buzz on!

Always enjoyable. Great chips and salsa. Very good standards and some fun new menu items worth trying from time to time. Good noise level to go with kids when they’re ready to have some fun, too.

When I was a kid, I used to order off the kid’s meal and get a chicken quesadilla. Well, now that I’m a big kid, I get the… chicken quesadilla, still. I don’t know what they do to their tortillas(they make them from scratch!), but they are delicious. They are light and fluffy to begin with and if you get a quesadilla, they lightly toast them. The cheese is always gooey when it gets to the table. A side of guacamole? Yes, please! If you like embarrassment, go here on your birthday.(They sing to you and clap) If not… I’d avoid it.
