So we’re hanging out around the mountains in North Georgia looking to grab a good meal and a cold beer and what do we find? A Mexican restaurant !!
Las Palmas, we shouldn’t have been surprised that good Mexican food found its way to the Blue Ridge Mountains, and here they are.
We had so pretty good stuff, their combination platters are good, generous and delicious and after you have a few cold ones… who cares anyway.
4 stars for getting in the way of our mountain appetites and delivering a hearty Mexican meal at an excellent price !

One word: MARGARITAS!
So after a day of roaming the mountains, we are starving. (I say this with that high pitched voice and hold the a «STaaaaAAAaaaRVING»). Think hiking and cold. Yup I was ready for some likker.
By the time the food came, yes I must say I polished off a couple of the Margaritas with the delicious chips, so crunchy and salty. Gotta love the chips.
I ordered some scorching Fajitas that came out sizzling and smelling like heaven. Steak fajitas and Margaritas, hey you can’t go wrong!
Oh yes and dessert. another Margarita! He he he.

Another great meal at Las Palmas! Tonight was fajita night and we took advantage of it. Seasoned perfectly and still sizzlin’ when they came out. Next I’m gonna try one of their margarita’s…That’s Thursday’s special… I’ll let you know how they are!!!
